While researching info on Kerry's draft notice (where is it?) I tried to link to the ORIGINAL Harvard crimson article" "John Kerry: A Navy Dove Runs for Congress" in the Feb 18, 1970 Harvard Crimson. Via Google, every link I found came up with a blank page. No matter what I used for search words still blank page.

TOPICS: News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 1970; harvardcrimson; interview; kerry; vanishingdocuments
John Kerry not only was opposed to the war before he joined the Navy. He joined the Navy AFTER the draft board turned down his request to study in France. This info is contained in various articles written about the original Harvard Crimson article. But the original is not available.

My point is that the ORIGINAL article PUBLISHED BY the Harvard Crimson is no longer available. Click on the URL I posted.

Come on, Kerty's no Clinton! Kerry realized afterwards that some documents he left around, those that didn't focus on 1968-69 in Nam could prove he was lying. Then he took them down. Willie cleaned his paper trail long before any one else tried to check up. Have you tried to get the military records that Traitor John had on his site? They ain't there!!

Kerry is a coward, traitor and liar. that's all provable. Now we need to check why he was courtmartialed? Was it homesexual activity, treason, aiding the enemy in time of war, drugs, disobeying an order, refusing to report for reserve activity? We will not know until he releases his records. He can't, of course, and instead will attack others and point at their flaws. But, as he accuses others of unproven things, recall that there is no reason not to believe Kerry was courtmartialed for homosexual activity.

"...the ORIGINAL article PUBLISHED BY the Harvard Crimson is no longer available."

Glad I saved it to a file. Hard to make these things go away now that we have the internet and the PC.

I've emailed several news sources to correct their misstatements that Kerry "volunteered" for service based on his comments in this interview. I've used the very links in this thread to try to get them to stop saying that he volunteered. The man did not volunteer for anything. He wanted to go to France. To study. But there is that persistent myth that he is some kind of war hero or something. UGH!!!

The link does take one to what appears to be the original article. The URL that I posted is the one that came up whenever I linked to the Harvard Crimson Article from every site I found on Google that dealt with the draft issue. Maybe they updated or is there something different with this new site?

You need to post a source for that claim. It's never been heard before, I don't think.

You seem to think that the internet is the be-all end-all of public information..

Hard copies of "Harvard Crimson" exist..
They are available at public libraries across the nation..

You telling me Kerry had special "Library Goon Squads" comb the nation destroying published and distributed paper copies as well..?

Ridiculous...

I heard it was the Navy Reserve he joined and not the Navy. I think it was on the O'Neill interview with Rush yesterday.
