The country apparently is as befuddled as Aunt Pitty Pat in Gone With the Wind.

I agree with you.
BUT...
cut it to 150 words and bust them in the balls on the first sentence and castrate them in the last.

nobody reads long letters.
especialy not the editorial staffs of liberal rag newspapers.

March 8, 1965 -- The first Stockholm Conference on Vietnam is held in Stockholm, Sweden...

Excellent. BTW, where did this all come from? Your work or some other source?

...Why do they invite a guest to speak and then not give him enough time! Irritates me...

ME TOO!!!!!

I'm afraid Sean is a ham and cannot stand turning the attention over to the guest. He has to interrupt, spiel out his same point and then wants the guest to say "yes - that's right". While - we the audience - already know what Sean thinks about everything - we want the guest to be allowed more than "Yes" or one sentence.

I turned to Scarborough and there Oliphant was given full time to explain the in-depth John Kerry. So - the tactic now is to sooth the waters and explain John Kerry.

Sean's POW did not even get to get in his point because Sean and Allen had to rattle their questions and then technical difficulties. So extremely frustrating - might have to fire off another complaint note to Sean.

What with the constant interruptions - "I only have a minute..let me ask this question......., we actually do not get any information from a guest on their show - merely a sound bite.

What does she have to say about Edwards?

Good point. The Democrats love to repeat their talking point about how Kerry and not Bush "volunteered" for Vietnam.

Edwards was old enough to volunteer, so why didn't he?

Where in the hell were all of you people when the Democrats ran a worthless coward of a draft dodger for President in 92?

Do you think for a minute that the Dems will think less of Kerry if any of this stuff is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt?

George Bush honors and respects all of our military and it shows.

They adore him in return.

These people (Democrats) are just muttering to the wind no one with brains believes and can stomach their bile.

No the dems won't care - they want power, they are the elite ruling class and want to rule us - the masses.

This man is possibly the noblest person I have ever witnessed giving testimony.

I agree. One other impressive feature about Mr. Galanti which lends credibility to his character and to what he had to say was that he was truly ill-at-ease as his list of metals and awards were being read out by Hannity. Contrast this to Kerry and see where the moral fiber lies.

I have just started reading Unfit for Command which fianlly arrived today. RE: your point of Kerry and the millions of dead Vietnamese, the SwiftVets say Kerry had very low regard for these people. I am forming the impression of an aloof, elitist, self-important young man who has probably made things up all his life. Whether to get attention from family and friends, I don't know. He seems not naturally liked by many. Are Kerry's parents alive? Siblings? I would find stories of his homelife interesting and probably revealing.

Yep, I'm with you. Alan Colmes is about the only liberal I can stand. He's confused, but I gained a ton of respect for him waaay back, when Sean Hannity cornered some wacko anti-war activist with a "So, if we go to war with Iraq, who do you want to win?" question, and the basta## wouldn't answer the question. Colmes was stunned, and covered for him with a "Of course both sides of the fence, conservative and liberal, hope for a quick victory for US forces...." response, but he looked stunned and shook that he was on the same side as this cretin. I wish guys like Alan would wise up and either bring their nutty leftist party back to being pro US, or quit and join the Republicans. I wonder what Lieberman, another decent but misguided soul, thinks of their party of crazed Deniacs?

Do remember the thunderous roar of the Army guys when GW walked into the mess hall during the holidays? He is the man (IMHO)!!! I don't know a single military person who doesn't think extremely highly of the president, other than he's not conservative enough.

I grieve at the torture that Mr. Galanti suffered. He is a brave and loyal American, a true role model for our society.

Let's hope the majority doesn't "faint" in November, but stands stong to defend the Republic. We CAN win.
