Matthews is trying very hard to ask "tough" questions of the twin Kerry apologist historians. Guess the proposed boycott got his attention.

It's funny watching leftie historian Stanley Karnow accusing Pat Buchanan of being a "partisan". As if Karnow isn't a total ideologue.

Oh, but Chrissie now says that he's going to have Bob Dole's "contradictory" words about his own injuries. Yeah, Chrissie, Dole has been faking that paralyzed arm for years.

You didnt get the memo did you? We should be boycotting Sissy and his show. He has been rude and interruptive over just about the last half-dozen conservative guests, plus john O'Neill.

Did I hear Chrissy right - right as he was going to break--talking about what was coming up? ..."Bob Dole - and his war wounds - which were controversial?"

Did I hear that right - or was he referring to Kerry's war wounds being controversial?

I sure hope he meant Kerry.

Of the 138 sailors in Kerry's unit, only two others received more than two Purple Hearts. The only other officer to receive three chose to remain in combat with his men. Steve Hayes, one of Kerry's fellow Swift Boat commanders remembers, "There was always something a bit odd about his time with us…I found him a bit aloof and imperious. After a twenty-four hour patrol, I remember Kerry would usually be in the squadron office writing. I never knew exactly what he was working on. Notes? Letters? His war diary? But he was always writing."

I"m watching! David Gregory, not in Crawford gives viewers the inside skinny on how Bush wants it both ways on the ads. Sickening, but when he softened his report, Matthews suggests Bush is folding on the argument, and Gregory has to explain no, that's not what Bush said today.

Douglas Brinkley is sweating, almost having to say Kerry is a Jekyll Hyde schizophrenic on the war.

Matthews starts out in serious hand wringing mode, about how can Kerry win as a hero and a protestor all at once.

Who the hell is Stanley Karnow, and what rock did Matthews find him under?

I had sworn off Matthews/Hardball, but relented to watch his rudeness towards both John O'Neill & Michelle Malkin. The only way I'd watch now is if Mark Levin, Alan Keyes, Ann Coulter, or some other ballsy (sorry Ann) conservative was on...you know, the kind that don't suffer fools lightly!

I was listening to the Big Story today and right at the end they had Major Garrett on. He was talking about how (concerning the 1st PH) 9 days after the incident which got Kerry his first PH, That they were leaving on their first patrol and they were cocky because they hadn't been shot at yet.

He said he ask the Kerry campaign for a comment about that and then he said that the Kerry people said it was possible the first Purple Heart was given for a un-intensionally self-inflicted wound.

I almost fell over, I'm sure that's what he said but Who knows if it was "misquoted" or not.

Anyway I just wanted to throw that out. Did anyone else hear that?

Matthews is still suffering from his rabies attack on Friday.
He seems somewhat calmer, but he still shows that hate in his face. Perhaps it was just a spitting emotional breakdown. The jerk acted like he couldn't remember Michele Malkin's name.

I watched tonight to see if Matthews had any integrity at all and would he apologize to Ms. Malkin. No freaking way.

But here's the funny part. My wife is watching with me and she is almost 100% apolitical. I made the comment that Matthews has a funny looking mouth. My wife says "he looks like a Charlie McCarthy dummy". She then says "maybe he had surgery so he could talk faster". I still have tears from laughing so hard as I type this. She sure could figure out Matthews real fast!

Fox said tonight the Kerry has given the journal "exclusively" to Brinkley. That is why they can't let others see it. HA HA HA. Kerry has to be coming up with some of the lamest excuses I have ever seen. Clinton puts him to shame. Kerry is a political "baby", as you can see from all his floundering around, making stupid remarks, and dorky photo ops. How did this man win elections for 30 years, being so inexperienced? (oh I forgot, he's a liberal in MA...) Regardless of Clintons other issues, he was a masterful politician. Kerry really does scare me, very bad. I would vote for Bill Clinton before Kerry. At least Clinton was a total weanie....

If only Matthews did a little homework, he would find a few more lies by Kerry.

Another Kerry lie was exposed by the Boston Globe in April 2004:

The Kerry campaign removed a 20-page batch of documents yesterday from its website after The Boston Globe quoted a Navy officer who said the documents wrongly portrayed Kerry's service. Edward Peck had said he -- not Kerry -- was the skipper of Navy boat No. 94 at a time when the Kerry campaign website credited the senator with serving on the boat. The website had described Kerry's boat as being hit by rockets and said a crewmate was injured in an attack.

But Peck said those events happened when he was the skipper. The campaign did not respond to a request to explain why the records were removed.
