The President met with members of his Security Council and others, at his ranch in Crawford, Texas. After the meeting, he held a press opportunity, and then provided lunch for the press and cameramen attending.
Have you seen or maybe even heard the comment by the VP regarding gay relationships how do you think this is going to be received by the christians within the GOP
I don't know that it will cause a huge controversy in the GOP. He is supporting peoples' freedom to live how they want to, despite whether or not he agrees with it.
He certainly has made his views on gay "marriage" known, as far as he doesn't support it.
I believe like he does, the courts have NO right to legislate like they have. That's the major issue to me personally, the judges just doing as they please to advance their social agendas...
What did he say?
The text is in my above 2 posts
I sure hope people don't jump on Cheney about this.
His daughter is keeping a low profile and has been targeted by extremist gay rights groups because she has not been vocal in supporting their agenda.
I think it's a shame, this can't be easy for their family. Whether you agree with her choices or not.
I agree with Phancy in post #322
Gee, thanks!
The fever must have broken, I'm making sense!
Isn't it? ;o)
Sure is!
How are you doing?
Great now I'm home fgrom work EARLY for a change! :o)
CougarGA7 and I are going to W's rally in Albuquerque on Thursday. If I get any good photos, can I get them to you to post?
Always a good thing, but I'm excited to go BACK to work tomorrow!
I'm getting cabin fever.
I know the feeling!
You nailed it, Cheney is being very open and honest, but they will find a way to bash him for it. But when he DOESN'T address something, then he's being conniving and secretive. He can't win!
I am firmly against gay "marriage", but if someone chooses to live the lifestyle, there's nothing I can do about it. That's why we live in a free country!
I'd rather live with people I disagree with than live in a place where everyone is told what to do!
**I'd rather live with people I disagree with than live in a place where everyone is told what to do!**
Here here Phancy lets hope that this just dies a natural death and the VP does not get more bad publicity.
Too right! :o)
Heck, the media is so desperate to tear apart GWB they will probably use this to bash HIM with!
It will make Cheney look "moderate" in comparison.
I have no idea how it will get covered in the long run, but I wouldn't be shocked if that was one angle they took!
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about much fallout for Cheney on this. I just don't think it's going to make a huge difference.
When you put it that way, it makes living amongst the liberals more palatable.
How you doing Pippin we keep missing each other
