DENVER -- Forgery charges have been filed against an Aurora man accused of submitting 48 false voter registration forms to state officials.
John Samuel MaCarthy, 27, faces four counts of forgery and one count of procuring false registration.
He's accused of submitting fake registration forms for people in Arapahoe, Jefferson and Denver counties while working for a voter registration collection business known as Choose 2 Vote. He had forged voter registration documents or falsely registered residents with the intent to defraud his Lakewood employer, said Attorney General Ken Salazar.
The 48 false registrations occurred between April 19 and April 22 and were discovered during the course of the investigation -- before they were ever filed with election authorities.
Investigators say neither the employer nor the people whose names were on the forms were aware of his activities.
No primary election races were affected.
MaCarthy is currently in Denver County Jail on unrelated charges.
The investigation was launched after clerks questioned forms listing nonexistent addresses, and others with similar signatures. They turned over 59 allegedly false registration documents.
The multi-jurisdiction investigation continues concerning a limited number of additional allegedly false Denver and Arapahoe County registration documents, and a small number of Adams County registration documents, the attorney general's office said.
The forgery charges could bring up to three years in prison and a $100,000 fine. Procuring false registration is a misdemeanor.
Which party????
The forgery charges could bring up to three years in prison and a $100,000 fine......or a position with the DNC, or at least moveon.org
It would be interesting to know if he was a democrat, which would not surprise me
And he was working for what party? Anyone. Anyone.
since they didn't say and it was dishonesty you can pretty well rest assured that he was a dem.
Let the games begin. I can hardly wait to see the impact of the illegal votes here in Vegas. The Dems have been registering them in the bars, corners etc. with scant proof of ID.
We're in serious trouble unless this stuff is stopped. Close the borders, deport illegals and fry anyone found committing voter fraud.
kerry and the DNC are going to hi-jack this election.
Salazar is the 'rat candidate for Senator ( vs Coors ). I'm guessing that this guy was making up fakes because he got paid per registration.
If you see a story like this and no party is mentioned, it is always a Democrat. Always. ALWAYS.
If he had been Republican, the story would have said so in the headline, the first sentence, twice more in the first paragraph, and at least once in every subsequent paragraph....

We need everyone to have to show an ID. I know, I know , the old ladiy can't drive. Those people need to be assessed by the monitors of both parties and approved or not. It wouldn't hurt to have a border patrol and LE present too. Illegals and felons would think twice. JMO
They are sure going to try to steal it. This election will make Ferdinand Marcos's elections look positively straight up.
Well if we all let them think we are going to vote for Kerry, when polled, they won't know how many votes they need and might still come up short.
Unfortunately democracy seems too easy to defraud... time to go back to Tribal Councils, lol
"Which party????"
Sure sounds like he was working for the Democrats, Moveon.org, or ACT.
The forgery charges could bring up to three years in prison and a $100,000 fine..............X 48 counts I hope !
Here is another rat fraud case!
Had to be the Democratic Party, because it was mentioned.
speaking of polls, I tried to find the story on the little imp who was scamming on voter registrations. here is a poll the aurora sentinel had on their site. go to the bottom of the page and click on reader poll.

if it was the Reps, we would be having breaking news on all the news and radio stations. helicopters would be flying over our homes telling us what a horrible stunt W is pulling on us.
