Kerry, on the other hand, may have done more than Dole to qualify as a genuine war hero

These Dems need to go
At times I just shake my head in disblief in what has come of the Dem Party
This is not the party of my parents generation
One more thing I have to say about it
God Bless these Vets for having the *alls to stand up to the Jerk Off from the Dem Party
Oliphant has long been one of the most disgusting sacks of ambulatory crap on this planet. He and Massachussets deserve each other.
Yeah....just need the "public" to understand WHO IS the "media".......ANYONE AGAINST BUSH!
What is this shrapnel we keep hearing about that is stuck in Kerry's thigh? We keep hearing about the gd piece of metal, but, never about how it came to be there....oh.. forgot. That's when he got hit by flying metal when he fired into a boulder or something. God, I wish we could get this guy, kerry!
Tell me why I can't write a vanity piece, asking for help in getting the people who were living through that era and have personal knowledge, of what Kerry did to our soldiers .... Like me, a sister, an aunt, a wife, a girlfriend, we all saw the soldiers come home and be treated like dogs because of John Kerry!
>>I need mass quanitites of drugs.......LOL.<<
Vodka and tonic is working right now--GRIN!!
I re-read all the kids books too, officially to decide which ones to encourage my kids to read but mostly just to enjoy them. Starship troopers, Have space suit will travel, and Time for the Stars stick out, but they're all good.
After 'Stranger', it was like he quite being clever and went for the weird, becasue the combination of clever and weird is what made 'stranger' a hit. Maybe he just ran out of clever ideas and milked the weird. He churned that stuff out ad naseum. It was kind of sad really. My restrospective on Heinlen ended when I tried to read 'Friday'. I just couldn't get through it. His obsesion with sex seemed to overpower everything else.
We need pictures of Bob Dole in uniform at a young age, and sKerry, too....with a catchy little by-line about their respective PURPLE HEARTS.....anyone up to it?
Hmmmm....I may have to take up hard liquor again before this election is over.
Will the American populace awake? Kerry isn't Clinton,so they may, this time around.
>>Hmmmm....I may have to take up hard liquor again before this election is over.<<
This current Swift Boat Vet. attack from the left just reminds me so much of the way I felt during the Florida re-count.
The Dems have all their liberal friends in the media spinning for them, so that the truth won't come out.
It frustrates me to no end.
"You sir are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine."
Agreed. Colson did not recruit O'Neill to debate on the Cavett show. It just brought O'Neill to his attention. O'Neill was invited to meet Nixon and told him he had voted for Humphry. Maybe Oliphant doesn't care to confirm what he writes. My sense is he slants things the way he wants with no regard for the truth.
BTW, I appreciate your courtesy in referring to me as "sir", but I am, as my girls say, "da Mama". Your information and links are very much appreciated.
Thanks for the post.
I have read all of those books and I agree - - they're ALL good. The last Heinlein books that I enjoyed were 'The Moon is a Harsh Mistress' and 'Farnham's Freehold'. I think, 'I Will Fear No Evil' signaled the end for me.
Anyways, you may want to check THIS LINK out. It has a list of all of Heinlein's novels and "juvenile" books. ("Juvenile," my behind - - I think ANYBODY should enjoy these books.) Looking at the lists was really a trip down Memory Lane for me. I read all those books between 1967 and 1971. I can hardly believe that Heinlein started writing in 1938!

Your newspaper's editorial "Big lies for Bush" is one of the most despicable smears that I've ever read in a so-called "major newspaper". Who in the hell in the halls of your rag decided to try to smear Senator Bob Dole? Who?
What garbage. You people should hang your heads in shame.
It is one thing to try to uphold the "honor" of your favorite candidate for president, the rapidly imploding John F'n Kerry. It is another thing altogether to try to tie an honorable human being, Bob Dole, to that opportunistic piece of shit.
Have you people no shame?
Sincerely,
XXXXXX
As you can tell, I have no interest in taking prisoners among the media elite.
In case folks don't realize it, it is war.
Well .. Bob Dole let Kerry have it today .. and it was IN YOUR FACE. The Globe is going to be sorry they used Bob's name .. now he's entered the fray .. and Bob knows about Kerry's senate record and he's not keeping quiet about it.
LOL! I love it.
Bob Dole, after being wounded in Italy during WWII
I can't imagine what will happen to the left when President Bush gets his 15 point bounce after the convention next week. I'm predicting "suicide watch".
Tagline material. :)
The Democrats keep setting traps on themselves. This seems to the be latest one.
