Chinese Kerry out: John Kerry's Private Trade Trip to Beijing
Insight on the News ^ | 8-6-04 | C.R. Smith

The Kerry campaign currently is struggling with recent photographs of the candidate, one dressed in a "bunny" suit at NASA and another on the bow of a ferry imitating a famous scene from the movie Titanic. However, a new photograph has emerged showing the Massachusetts senator in Beijing, People's Republic of China, working with a company associated with the Chinese military. The Kerry campaign and the Kerry Senate office both are refusing to comment on the Democratic presidential candidate's privately sponsored trade trip to China. Repeated phone calls both to Kerry's campaign headquarters and his Senate office were not returned.

During the late 1990s, John Kerry traveled on a "U.S. trade mission to the People's Republic of China organized and sponsored by a private corporation." The Kerry trip to Beijing was topped off with a "banquet in Beijing's legendary Great Hall of the People." To prove the trip was a success, the Massachusetts-based firm of Boston Capital & Technology photographed Kerry in the Beijing Great Hall of the People. The image and trip information appear at www.us-china.com, Boston Capital's Website

I'm reading Jack Cashill's Ron Brown's Body. Much of the book describes the conversion of the Commerce Dept. into a cash-raising machine, particularly after the 1994 Congressional wins by the Republicans. Clinton had to win no matter the cost, and Ron Brown was the bagman. I can never view the term "trade mission" in the same light again. Sounds like Terry McAwful is up to his old tricks again, and sKerry's playing right along.

I wish someone would clear something up for me - since COSCO stands for China Ocean Shipping Co. and is partly owned by the Chinese military, what in the world is Heinz doing in associating with them since Kerry is running for US President?

The plot thickens!

That was how he delivered our military secrets to the Chinese.

I'm logging on to FR late because I just finished watching a movie. Intriguing how it follows this line of secrets to the Chinese.

The name of the film is "Chain of Command" and starred Roy Scheider. It centered around the "Football" and how it must always be within 30 or so feet of the President. There were Secret Service to guard the "Football" and another team to guard the President.

This is a MUST watch if you can find it. It was on CBS. During the film it was mentioned how the Chinese could pepper the US with nuclear ICBMs because of "secrets" they got from the U.S.

Strange, in the film the President was a real ladies man! Pure fiction - right?

The Kerry Hotel in China belongs to a string of "37 hotels and resorts in Asia's key cities" and its headquarters are in Morristown, NEW JERSEY (21 Glempsewood Lane).

Any comments or info about this, Dog and OldFriend?

I think I remember that. Wasn't it one of his former Secret Service men or a White House aide that brought it up.

Regardless, pretty scary.

"There surely seems to be a lot of things Mr. Kerry has been into. Wonder what he negotiated here - remember - the Chinese are supporting him for President.

The following is long - its a bunch of articles of interest."

Making friends and influencing people. Another one of those "foreign" leaders who wants a change in the presidency.

JFKerry has demonstrated that his office as Senator is his stepping stone to global fame.

One would think that as a "WAR" hero he might find the time to visit those serving in the military. I haven't heard he has been to Iraq since Saddam has been ousted. Maybe after this election he and his side kick can go and offer Saddam their legal services.

I believe it was Col. Buzz Patterson who mentioned it in Dereliction of Duty. Clinton and entourage just drove off without the football, leaving the man to walk back to the White House alone.
