I am reasonably acquainted with html, but have never made posts that reflected the quality of the posts I make. Some freepers have made beautiful posts and I am frustrated that I have not found an html editor I can use that is compatible with the FreeRepublic.com.
Can anyone suggest a clean and simple tool to use.
I am trying to avoid hand coding everything and yet can't seem to be able to use Frontpage.
I know someone can help me.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I misspoke earlier. I've actually been at it a little over a year and writing some stuff..Winforms and ADO.NET with a SQL backend. Simple stuff, really. I'll be slapping up some pages next month, hopefully.
I meant actually helping design and engineer the product. Been working with Whidbey since Jan.
But the files name is of the servers and NOT c:\windows\mydocuments\MyPictures yada yada?
If you're running IE6, it won't work.
I can't understand why this story is not getting play in the press. Maybe it is that there is so much on the swift boat story everything is getting drowned out. To the extent this is true, if it is, then the swift boat story does not hurt Kerry nearly as much as everything else about him that could.
correct.
Bump for future reference
the bad thing about Front Page is that the html coding will reflect the image location in your computer, you have to edit that tp reflect where the actual image is located.
Sorry
I create beautiful, eye-catching, and massively informative posts all throughout the web just writing things out using a small set of tags:
i
b
blockquote
a
ul
ol
img
Those are all you need for most things.
How is the bandwidth response at your blog site? If you were getting a lot of views....maybe your server doesn't support outside linking?
I've had Firefox for a month or 3.
So, how do I use it to do html the easy way and avoid doing it by hand???
THX
Thanks
I just freehand my posts, as do most of the posters here. A handful of HTML tags are all you really need.
But, real HTML guys use Hot Dog, from Sausage Software. I have used it since version 2.0 in 1995. Excellent program if you like to get into the nuts and bolts of the code.

I want to fomat images into the text and didn't want to have spend all night editing the html to get the post to work right.
Make a post in your Front Page. Copy the code and freepmail it to me. I will review and test it.
Your post 52 looks fine to me.
I am talking about the freerepublic posts.
I hand coded it.
