At this point I am happy to win anything.

Somewhere the webmaster has a statistics report of how many are logged on and how many are lurking. That used to be on the homepage at one time so you might realize that your words and typos and all are being reviewed by possibly millions. Who knows, Teresa Heinz might be reading this thread right now!

Hey! Hey!! Welcome to the FReepers, and to the Republican ideology.

If I may ask...what was the final thing that helped you to see the light?

Again, welcome! :)

LOL, that's great! For some reason I was thinking that you'd gotten all 92 in just a day or so!

I could probably get more than that in one day on a Dim site. Whatcha think?

What!!, I don't need no stinking number. I hate numbers, I get all confused with numbers. :)

I love this place and work to convert others into numbers, I suppose. Jim is this your idea of a weekend riddle ??

Been here for only one week, made 3 posts,and feel like I have gained a lifetime of knowledge already. I hate to admit it, but I am a recovering dem.,and a new Repub.,so this is my kind of place. No place better to find out what's really going on.

There are many benefits to being part of this FR community:

1) Get unfiltered news;

2) Spread the alarm when occasion calls for it;

3) Fight the good fight, for things you care about. Get feedback;

4) Make friends;

5) Give the world's intelligence agencies and democrat lurkers a piece of your mind;

6) Get your home page indexed by Google;

7) Learn basic HTML.

But there's something else...

8) FR teaches you to communicate effectively in writing, and to become a better advocate for conservative ideas. After many posts, you will learn to gauge how people will react to you. You will be flamed, complemented, ignored, laughed at...the works. After a while, your style will change and probably for the better.

Is being able to reach out of the screen and shake someone by the lapels important? YES, for many good reasons. Please take the opportunity to post, not just lurk. Your writing style will change, I promise.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have no idea, I don't even go near the stinkin' things! But I suppose if you were trollin' they'd be on to you...then again, maybe not. I'm not sure they know how to think for themselves!

There was a rather disreputable poster in the past who claimed to be Polish and started all manner of disturbances.

This person was banned and came back a couple of times under different screen names, only to be banned again. Hellinahandart thinks you are this person, and is naturally suspicious.

I, personally, disagree with hellinahandcart, but I understand the basis for the suspicion whereas you may not have been aware of this situation.

Hellinahandcart, I have been watching posting styles since I started lurking here in '98, and I think you may have the wrong idea about anonymoussierra. I could be wrong of course.
