In the brief month since the end of the Democratic Convention, America's Catholics have started to back away from John Kerry. In a CBS News poll conducted before the convention, Kerry led among white Catholic males 51/40. In a just released poll, CBS now reports that Kerry's lead with this important group has fallen by a net 7 points. The numbers now stand at 48/44 with Kerry still on top. Since 1964, the white male vote has steadily turned away from Democratic presidential candidates. Without support from Catholics,it is doubtful that John Kerry can win this election.
"Life begins at conception" coming back to haunt him.
Im with you i sport the bumper sticker and the truth will come out we just cant back off.

ciao
I have my bumper stickers on, as does my daughter who will be going to college this weekend. She ordered one for our parish priest, however he is unable to display it so another parishoner availed himself to it. I saw it on his truck today!!
We discussed your website after Mass on Sunday.
Nobody is denying them the right to express their viewpoint, they are only denying them the right to wrap their phony beliefs in the cloth of Catholicism, thereby slandering the teachings of the church.
If the Muslims would take similar action against those terrorists who wrap themselves in the cloth of Islam as a cover for murder, then there would not be a need for apologist organizations like CAIR to run intereference for terrorism.
Well good. I was losing hope for you Catholics. I thought the Catholic Church of America had come out in support of tucking our tails between our legs and "forgiving" our attackers. As a Christian it embarassed me this ugly twisted logic Church leaders have stood behind.
Anyways, if Catholics go the way of Evangelicals (whom I believe support Republicans 70 to 30? Which show their longsuffering, since the Republicans have forsaken their Christian base) then Kerry may surely lose. I'm also ashamed of you millions of Christians who bitch and complain about the liberalizing of society but don't get off your fat asses to vote!
I don't think it's that the general cultural Catholic is strongly against his general policies and ironically, they would probably vote for him if he were Methodist. The fact that he is Catholic though, sort of makes him the poster boy for the Church and altho a lot of Catholics aren't particularly devote, they like to pretend it makes a big difference in their lifes. I'm Catholic btw, so no flames please.
He was never a real Catholic; his conversion was just a cheap ploy to trick Boston voters into thinking he was Irish. Now it no longer matters and he doesn't need to pretend anymore.
Because New Mexico is a 50/50 state (almost literally, even closer than Florida), convincing even a few hundred Spanish-speaking Roman Catholic New Mexicans to vote for Bush instead of Kerry could tip the state into the Bush camp. Democrats are desperate for the Hispanic vote this year because they need to be the party of the minorities against whom the conservatives would discriminate.
This won't help Kerry with any type of moral voter.
