Its time now. I know I know it looks bad. But Kerry's mug needs to be morphed, photoshop-wise, with a Hitlerian moustache.

Too passe', turn him into Stalin!!

Pray for W and The Truth

Sean Hannity is reporting that 87% of all 527's go to Democrats.

I just donated $25 and bought the book at www.Booksamillion.com ("in stock")

Obviously swiftvets advertisements and PR campaign has max wffectiveness per dollar.

This kerry crap simply means more people will see the ad and feel uneasy about kerry.

The Republicans should have a campaign rally featuring a showing of Fahrenheit 451:

I'm not sure how the law reads in this regard, etc however as long as the tie doesn't exist Kerry has no standing

Under the new CFR laws, the political parties cannot run ads in support of their candidates. Since the dems knew McCain-Feingold would pass, they set up 527s well in advance of this year's election.

527s are called that because that is the IRS designation for this type of "charitable" organization. These groups can collect money in any amount from any source (remember Al Gore's Buddhist buddies?), and it is not disclosed to the public. The only disclosure necessary is to the IRS.

The RNC filed a complaint with the FEC last year, and the FEC put it on the shelf until after the election.

In order to prove collusion between the candidate and the 527, there must be evidence connecting the two -- for example, someone in a post earlier noted that Harold Ickes is on the board of a 527 and is an officer in the DNC. That would be illegal.

OK, this is what they are doing:

By filing this they are hoping that the bright light of the media is moved off of Kerry and Kerry's record and onto whether or not we should have these PACs. It really doesn't matter if they have a case or not.

IT IS A MISDIRECTION.

THIS IS A CLASSICAL POLITICAL MOVE

Sorry to shout.

So far, he's given nearly $16 million of that fortune to defeat Bush. But, he has vowed to defeat George Bush at any cost – even if it meant spending his multi billion dollar fortune. ..."I have come to the conclusion that the greatest contribution I can make to the values that I hold would be to contribute to the defeat of George W. Bush in 2004," Soros said in a recent interview from his Manhattan office.

Soros didn't play a role in partisan American politics prior to this election though he admits he has had friendly relationship with John kerry. Recently, he told the Times, he broke off all contact with the Massachusetts Senator.

But he wouldn't influence anybody's vote in an election.

If only the democrats would go after terrorist as hard as they go after vets, we'd be a lot better off. Remember, the democrats loathe the military. First in Nam, the the absentee votes, now the Swift vets. This should be expected. The left hates the military. Past, present and future and always will.

Folks, if you still think you live in a free country, look around and enjoy it now. It could end in November. The left wing looneys do not want us to be free. The last century saw 70 years of totalitarian rule in the Soviet Union. The population could not have guns. They were forbidden to attend church. They were told that capitalism was evil. The state owned all means of production. State controlled thugs broke into homes in the middle of the night to drag off citizens who spoke out against them, and they often disappeared for years, or forever.

As for me, my life is down to the twilight years, but I was alive during World War II and I have lived that history, including 12 years of active military duty. Most older Americans have fought and worked hard to save this great country. We just hope that there are enough left to keep her free.

This is unbelieveable. A pre-Florida lawyer election barrage.

All the more reason why President Bush has to win in a major landslide.

I feel slightly nauseous at this. They really WILL stop at nothing to get into power. How high will they take the fight, and what will it cost us if they DON'T get what they want?

My edit shows my fears. Armed and pissed leftist freaks that don't get their way???

Look to the RNC convention for a possible hint of what the future may hold.

"All the ads against President Bush and he's never once whined over it."

Exactly. Republicans respect the Constitution; DemocRATs don't. They know the First Amendment exists, but they believe it only exists for them.

I guess a guy who runs around calling himself a war hero ought to actually be one.

The first thing I was told when I was a kid by my uncles who were in Vietnam was not to ask people about what they did and that real war heroes don't go around talking about how heroic they were.

This obnoxious gigolo son of a bitch LIED about being under fire when he pulled Rassmen out of the water.

24 people who were there including four other OFFICERS say so.

He is going down.

Statement by Navy Veteran Van Odell, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in Rebuttal to Michael Dobbs, Washington Post, August 19, 2004

A courageous, soft spoken man of the Midwest, Larry Thurlow has a heart bigger than the great plains and a commitment to truth and honesty that is boundless. He is under attack, because John Kerry is feeling the heat of truth at the hands of this honest man and others like him.

The Kerry Campaign is attacking the truthfulness of this man and the Bronze Star he so richly deserves for his actions on March 13, 1969. I was there. I saw what happened.

The mine's detonation lifted PCF-3 completely out of the water just yards ahead of me. All boats commenced suppression fire in case enemy small arms fire ensued. None did.

All boats came to the aid of PCF-3, except one: John Kerry's boat. Kerry fled.

Larry Thurlow piloted his boat straight toward the mine-damaged PCF-3 from which thick, black smoke billowed. He jumped aboard and personally led damage control operations that saved the boat and rescue operations that saved the lives of badly wounded men. Larry's leadership was in the highest traditions of the naval service. His leadership allowed the other men and boats of the mission to exit the river safely. This single act of meritorious service -- the chief requirement of the Bronze Star -- should be honored, not ridiculed, by the Kerry campaign and its allies in the mainstream media.

To reiterate, only one enemy weapon was deployed that day -- the command-detonated submerged mine that disabled PCF-3. Larry Thurlow's citation contained references to "enemy small arms and automatic weapons fire," because that was the language chosen by John Kerry who penned the spot report on the action that day.

There was no "enemy small arms and automatic weapons fire" received that day. John Kerry's report was fiction -- a hoax on the entire chain of command. Larry Thurlow's heroism and meritorious service, however, is real.
