Tucker Carlson just said that CNN has been notified that the Kerry camp will seek to have the goverment pull the Swift Boat veterans for Truth ads.

If he is maintaining that the book is libelous, why doesn't he file a complaint, in a court? He's got plenty of money, he could afford to do that. He certainly would not have a hard time proving malice, it's obvious those guys hate him and are trying to hurt him, so all he needs to prove is that their charges are untrue.
Why, instead of seeking relief via the proper channels, is he trying to be a fascist and intimidate people? And does he really think this is going to play in Peoria? This is the United States of America, land of the FREE, where even little children in the shoolyards remind each other regularly "this is a free country, I can say what I like". This whole attempt at stifling these men via intimidation is the worst possible response he could make. He should have just shrugged it all off, said: my record speaks for itself and I consider their attack on me unworthy of a response. Instead he's trying to throw his weight around like some autocrat. This could cost him the election. Who the heck ever tried anything like this?
Gauging by their behavior in Florida in 2000, they'll do whatever they feel is necessary, regardless of its ethics, legality or cost. They have neither shame nor scruples. With them, it's all about pure, naked power and the public weal be damned.

Damn! The Kerry Campaign has just publicly lost its mind! This is huge: in two hundred and twenty-eight years of politics in this nation, has something like this ever happened before?

I keep hearing "FCC", but I am certain I heard "FEC" on the top of the news. Or is it they asking the FEC to rule them illegal and ask the FCC to then pull the ads? Where is the lawsuit? Where is the text? Somebody can get a PDF? Krystallnacht, man, krystallnacht. Problem is, Kerry just flushed a toilet with his own crap inside to the high water line, and it is going to splash back on his botoxed mug so firmly press to the rim of the toilet seat.
Hannity says, "yes, let's open this door!" He's been doing research on the connections between the democrat 527's and the Kerry campaign. He's going over some articles regarding some of them at the DNC convention running around joining in many of the events.
Is there no book they won't burn, no mouth they won't gag, no veteran they won't figuratively slap all over again?

The FEC declined to rule on 527s (the groups running these ads) until after the election.
I don't think the FEC can rule on this complaint before ruling on the 527s.

Hannity on now talking about this. Time to call Mark Levin! Their overnights must be hideous. Some of their soft Democratic support must be slipping away. The union/combat vet Democrats must be rethinking their support.
