He can announce health problems. Toricelli dropped out based on polls showing he would lose, and he was not humilated by the experience.

I stand in awe. The strategy of the vets is absolutely impeccable. Get the first ad out, along with the book, knowing that it will provoke a firestorm, eventually bringing in the MSM. The MSM is in, obviously with the intent to destroy the vets, but it is in the fray. They took the bait, and the hook is set.

The classic pincer move....Don't shoot till you see wht whites of their eyes....hold your line mister!

- Somewhere, in behind the Swift Boat Vet group is someone with a lot of media savvy who has thought this campaign through for a long, long time. I've noticed how quick the Swifties get out their rebuttal press releases almost immediately as soon as the MSM tries to cover for Kerry's lies. It's as if every move has been anticipated and allowed for. Now, with the POW's into the picture at just the point where the MSM have committed themselves to the fray, they have been completely snookered and must either trash the POW's (unthinkable) or slink away.

This is going to be truly devastating to John Kerry's campaign. It's about time the truth was told about Kerry's despicable behavior in condemning his fellow Vets on his return from Vietnam. Kerry used distortion, fabrication and outright lies to create a world that didn't exist and in the process undermine life for US POW`s held in Vietnam.
