Devastating ad.
yes it is...
It should run in all 50 states.
I think it will
To: WoodstockCat
The DU'r already posted the same thought.
To: Mudboy Slim
I just sent 'em $50 yesterday. And I've bought the book. But I'm thinkin' I may need to send more.
That ad should play in every household in America.
To: goldstategop
No, they just mention his words. I just went back and listened again, and several of them mention him by name directly. As I understand it, the standard is no longer an endorsement or opposition, but just even referring to a candidate in a way that identifies him/her, it doesn't have to even be by name.
To: eyespysomething
When Bush wins, these ads will go down in history as some of the most effective political ads ever. And not even run by the candidates. The Dems AND the Republican party bosses are going to regret McCain-Feingold. In order to make themselves heard, people are going to donate to the 527 group of their choice, which will present things the way their DONORS want them to, without regard to what either party's leadership wants

And remember, when asked by Chris, Thurlow said "YES". It is a motivating factor for him. Chris had to have known about this ad .. that is why he acted the way he did last night

Joe Lockhart will ask that the ad be withdrawn because permission was not given to use Kerry's own words against him.
To: Miss Marple
This ad is a clear view that the emperor has no clothes.
To: engrpat
Kerry's group is correct, the ad is being supported by Texas republicans....me and my $25.00. and California Republicans with my $50.00.;-)

swiftboats.net was established long time ago by regular swift boaters. It's not a fraud, I don't believe.

"John Kerry gave them for free what I took torture forbecause I refused to say it." (Talking about war crimes.)Yep. That was the most powerful line in a commercial filled with powerful lines.

The Kerry supporters believe that the troops really did commit the war crimes, and even if not, Kerry was right to lie about it, in order to bring about a quicker end to the war.
Theyre not targeting the rabid Kerry backers. They are lost. Good riddance.
They are targeting the knuckle-headed undecided voters who actually decide our elections. You know, the people who vote for the guy with the best smile or the one they feel is nicer.
This ad makes it very hard for them to feel that Kerry is a nice man who deserves their vote.

Watching the new Swiftboat's ad is like watching a surgeon slicing into Kerry and ripping his heart out. It was powerful and chilling.
Knowing that my small contributions helped them get this message out is the best money I have ever spent.
To: abnegation
Lurch just spent $500,000.00 to combat the first ad.....Now this one comes out. I wonder who his lawyers will threaten on this one?, He's got to walk a very fine tightrope on this one, how to attack without attacking POW's. Unfortunately, I think McCain might carry part of the water for him. If McCain hasn't spoken by this afternoon then he's finally leaving Kerry to twist in the wind...
