A news report posted on another thread indicates that John Kerry was not happy about the reception he received at the VFW convention. He was ticked that his staff said he'd get a warm reception, but instead it was cool, if not downright cold.
This photo shows Kerry in what appears to be a fully condescending mode toward his black aide. Kerry's face is grim and stern. His eyebrows are raised and he's wagging that finger at the poor aide, who looks startled.
Here's Yahoo's caption: U.S. Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry talks to his campaign trip director Setti Warren (L) before a 'Front Porch Visit' on health care in Derry, New Hampshire August 19, 2004. Kerry accused U.S. President George W. Bush of using surrogates to 'do his dirty work,' as the Democratic presidential challenger hit back on Thursday at a Republican assault on his Vietnam War record. REUTERS/Brian Snyder US ELECTION

LOL! Are we the only two codgers on this thread? I don't think anybody else caught it.
what time did you say dinner was?
...bout an hour. There's plenty. Come on over!
This guy is just Clinton regurgitated .. it's everybody's fault but his.
Yup, the DemoRATS are getting on my last nerve!!!!!!
Great captions for those photos! He probably can't help the way he looks throwing a ball, but he should at least be aware that this photo is humorous. He just cannot stop trying to do things 'like Bush!' He won't ever be able to pull any of it off with grace!
"...and boy, make certain that Martini is dry, up and with an olive." Then an aside to his companion: "That's the problem with being master on the Democrat Plantation, you must settle for whatever help is available!"
Hi, Geezerette, glad you are still here. I haven't heard from you in quite a while. I listen to Michael Savage every night now, and love him. (He has stopped screaming and insulting callers) Hee-Hee, if looks from the die-hard Pubs here could kill, you and I would be buried now. Go Savage!
