A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 8.19.04

The President's hardworking National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice spoke about and took questions on the Global War on Terror's war of ideas, addressing the efforts the Bush Administration has taken to lead the world toward values and understanding that will bring a just and lasting peace, at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington D.C. today. Dr. Rice counseled Americans to be 'less critical of every twist and turn' in Iraq.

Retiring Senator Zell Miller, D-GA, will deliver the keynote address at the GOP Convention.

Dr. Condoleeza Rice talks with Sean Hannity (radio link) on military transformation.

The First Lady had a significant interview with Bill Sammon of The Washington Times, stating she believes life begins at conception and that she supports her husband's view on abortion. Asked if she was pro-life, she answered yes and stated abortion should be rare. "Mrs. Bush laughed incredulously when asked whether the press was fair and impartial in its coverage of a conservative such as President Bush. Her press secretary, Gordon Johndroe, laughed even more heartily." The twins will not be speaking at the GOP convention, she said. The short interview is worth the read. She described her husband as "very loving and compassionate and really sweet."

The interview excerpted further: "The first lady was asked whether she would be devastated if her husband lost. 'Yes, of course,' she said. 'Would we still have a life? Sure. Would we have a good life? Sure.' [Sammon asks:] Would Americans survive a Kerry presidency? 'They'll do a lot better,' she said, smiling ruefully, 'with a Bush re-election.'"

President Bush will be vacationing for a week at his ranch so we're not likely to be seeing a lot of the usual photos.

I think that at the convention, it was a first attempt, it was spontaneous, to go with the "reporting for duty" line..it was almost a wave, and most importantly, he was saluting them first....what's pissing me off, is that now he's copming dow the plane steps, the vets waiting at the bottom arfe standing to attention, or trying to, and they salute him, and he returns the salute..he's playing pretend president, f' pete's sake..

I'm sorry!
I was walking with care package boxes in her garage and slammed into her SUV mirror, tripped up the garage stairs and then knocked a bunch of stuff over in her laundry room.
I'm a mess!
Good thing she's so forgiving!
About about stepped on her cat, too. (aptly named "Dubya" by the way!)

I don't get too much time to post lately, but did want to get a few pictures of that rally in and make some exchanges about the Kerry Vietnam record. It's very important. :)

Being from Texas and KNOWING darn sure that W will carry Texas, the best I can do is donate money! Wphile, remember satan would love more than anything for us to feel, confused, spooked and defeated! I will stand firm and believe that OUR God is mightier than any poll, any evil rats deed, my God is a POWER HOUSE! NO ONE CAN WITHSTAND HIS POWER! Prayer changes hearts, and I'll continue for the blinders to come off the sheeple! We need to be steadfast, unmovable, always in prayer and fasting. When everything is said and DONE, my WHOLE faith rest in the GOODNESS of the Lord! OUR POWER HOUSE will come through at the end...MARK MY WORDS...W WILL WIN!! God promised us, his children, that GOOD triumphs over evil! He did it in the 2000 election when the RATS were hell bent on stealing the election! He'll do it again this coming election! STAY FAITHFUL!

He'll justify it by saying he's an ex-officer. It is disgusting, no less because you know his true motivation for doing it. The man has no scruples.

It's not justified..I got out as a 1LT USMC...and I sure as hell wouldn't return a salute from a guy at a VFW hall..I'd shake his hand, and buy him a beer..

Yes, I've noticed Kerry and his fake saluting. I'm with you in feeling BETRAYED by that socialistic/communistic gigolo who caused untold suffering to our troops in Nam.

**I think our war on terror would be greatly improved by taking some sort of action to undermine or depose the leadership in Iran.**

If this happens do you think America we go alone or via UN or coalition. If coalition do not know if UK would want to be involved as we do quite a lot of trade with Iran. The company I work for in the last 2 - 3 about a quarter of our turnover has been with Iran.

I email Iran probably at least once a week and interestingly enough I have a great worker relationship with 2 Iranian men who are our company's representatives in Iran who treat me with great respect and have no problems dealing with a woman and in fact we are on first names terms.
