August 19, 2004 -- REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Laci Peterson's furious mother called her son-in-law a "f---ing liar" and begged him to tell her where he ditched the body, it was revealed yesterday as Scott Peterson's murder trial screeched to a halt due to a mysterious "potential development Sharon Rocha became convinced of Peterson's guilt in January 2003, not long after his affair with Amber Frey became public.

I just can't imagine a husband in the midst of "searching" for a pregnant missing wife, carrying on this way with hopes of a life with Amber. After all, they just started looking for Laci. All hope wasn't lost.....BUT IT WAS TO SCOTT. He reveals himself and insider knowledge of Laci's whereabouts unknowingly.
Reaganwuz, my friend, I don't see Scott being exonerated any time soon!
Listen to those tapes, if you haven't heard them in sequence yet. They are a real portrait!
Near the last few tapes, IMO, Scott is beginning to crack.
No need for tinfoil! Apparently lots of people--including her father, and probably HER--also thought that!
You're absolutely right. You have to show me another scenario with a REAL person. And you have to show me ANOTHER boat and a MOTIVE. I'm sure they had observers at the Bay after Scott IMMEDIATELY presented them with a dock receipt AND found out that he IMMEDIATELY washed his fishing clothes. So, what's missing from the picture? Scott's shoes?
I think that article was written earlier. They're not having those witnesses today. The witnesses apparently couldn't rearrange their schedules on such short notice.
Yes, and how many people hate a guy so much that they would annihilate his pregnant wife, and THEN go to extensive trouble to frame him for it? If Scott had any such enemy, the person must make bin laden pale by comparison, for sheer evil.
You will love Las Vegas even if you don't gamble. My husband and I love to go at least twice a year.
Thanks for the link. I read it. I don't see where it has any particular evidentiary value, but boy, it sure is good to read Sharon telling Scott what he really is!
Be sure and read the latest installments on psychesknot.com. They are good, and she also explains who "Waltona" is. (I hadn't known that.)
That's true about those lion slots. I have played them and won.
The $1.00 wheel of fortune pays off pretty good too.
Yes I did listen to those tapes and while he doesn't admit his involvement outright it seems strange the way he skirts Frey's questions or only gives partial answers. If he didn't know or suspect the conversation might be getting taped and was just being careful then I'd say he acted as if he had something to hide. That's something the jury will have to use their judgment on.
Soooo, we've got two pathological liars in the news these days.
John "Flipper" Kerry and Scaught Peterson.
One wants to fulfill his date with destiny to be President,
and the other just wants another date with Amber.
LOL!
Better make that three--Mark Hacking, after all, managed to run a fraud for five long years, fooling family and friends into thinking he was going to premed and finally was accepted in a medical school. Is this going to be the decade of the Big Lie?
I still believe that a Plea Deal is coming AND SOON!!
Why? Because the family is running out of money. Why would Gragaros leet it go on and on at "a public attorney rate" if he thought his client was going to be convicted in the long run.
And, you don't plan a life with your mistress if your "loved" wife might turn up.
The only problem I have with him knowing or suspecting the conversations might be getting taped from the start is why bother to call Frey to begin with and risk making himself look bad? Unless he was trying to be a slick character and fool the police into believing he had nothing to do with it. He does go out of his way several times to deny his guilt.
"Amber... Amber... are you there? I just think it would be so beautiful, you and Ayianna, and Laci and her baby, and me, all of us together... butterflies and rainbows..."
BTW, I listened again to the tape where he tells Amber he loved Laci. At first I'd thought he said, "I love Laci... I loved Laci, there's no question about that." But what he actually says is, "I loved Laci... I loved Laci..." He doesn't use the present tense at all, that time he was speaking of Laci. And that was, of course, b/f the bodies were found.
And when he denies his guilt, he ALWAYS uses the same phrase: "I had nothing to do with it" or "I had nothing to do with Laci's disappearance."
Never varies. It's like a chant--something you've memorized through frequent repetition.
The rest of the time, he says, "I can't talk about that at this time".
Then finally, he says, "Those questions that frustrate you... you've guessed the answers."
Considering that her "guesses" were that he had done it, I find that incriminating.
I read that one of the 3 witnesses, that WERE going to go on today, was Lee Peterson.
And the media types asked Lee Peterson if he knew the reason for the delay. He replied that yes, he did, but that he couldn't say.
All of a sudden Lee is so conscientious about following the gag order, darn it!
