Please excuse the vanity, but I briefly recall Edwards saying the other day that Kerry still had schrapnel in him along with a statement about bleeding in Vietnam.
Is this true?
And Eddie Munster's military experience is what? Not even any guard? Wasn't he drafting age during that time?
Yes puffed rice!
Rice grain was too small to find with an electron microsope.
I believe he also has a shell fragment in his eye.
Judging from the way he has been conducting himself in this campaign I would be willing to bet there is a fragment in each foot. (Self inflicted)
Probably more like a couple of rice kernals that he passes off as schrapnel.
Edwards was in Atlanta, GA this morning.
In a hall that holds 1000, he had 300 attend.
Sounds like the "other America" couldn't afford the price of admission.
Well my husband has quite a bit of shrapnal left in him and besides that spent a few weeks on a hospital ship, then returned to action in Vietnam. He doesn't go around advertising his TRUE heroics.
How long can we hear about these Vietnam antics of Kerry's(all exaggerated, fabricated) before we as a nation scream "Enough already!!"?

I think it's rice. And I think he's got either a porcupine or some dog's favorite rug lodged in his forehead.
there was rice and grenade fragments in his buttox ... doctor's took out rice, may have left grenade fragments. Of course, since Kerry refuses to release the documents about this incident, it's an open question. Regardless, either fragment or rice, the wound was errantly self-inflicted and did not qualify for the medal he received.
He was across the street from my office. Glad I didn't know about it until after the fact.
He only had 200-300 here as well. I think it was a cocktail reception-type function, and the facility could hold quite a few people, but I'm not sure the number. With 200-300, they had plenty of elbow room I'm sure.
I remember seeing something about his planned fundraiser/visit on local (Montgomery) news. Some plates where going for $25,000 per (or so said our local TV folks).
Is Edwards suggesting that the lumpy load you usually see in Kerry's seat is rice and not a diaper.
The thing at Summit Club in Bham last night was $1000-$25000, and he raised (according to the bham news) $500K.
