Ted Rall is a pile of dung masquerading as political cartoonist/columnist who publishes in Slate along with Eric Alterman (another POS). He is beyond vile in his rants to the point of making Micheal Moore seem civil. He is most remembered for his cartoon of Pat Tillman after his death calling him a sucker and a dupe who got what he deserved. I don't know if he tried to post to this forum directly, but freepers have posted his crap here before.

I love looking at liberal BS and calling it for what it is in this forum. But Ted Rall is beyond the pale. He is offensive to the extreme. He IS true political porn. We don't need his crap here.

Once again I thank the Admin Moderator for banning his material from this forum.

There are any number of reasons I have tried to popularize the concept that "The Nineteen-Ninties were The Decade of Frauds."

The obvious ones were the dot-bomb bubble and the Clintons, but there were any number of contenders who helped this idea gell in my mind.

One subset was talentless creeps who rode a wave of popularity based not on merit or talent, but notoriousness and self-promotion.

Rall was a poor writer, and a worse draftsman whose scribblings were an insult to those who try to make such disciplines an art.

I will not miss him.

The reason was given atop the pulled thread: "Ted Rall not welcome here." Did it not show up when you tried to access it? (In some cases, a glitch seems to be preventing the reason's display).

As for the mods' judgement in this and other cases, we are neither infallible, nor the court of last resort. If you feel there's been a mistake, no reason you can't appeal to the owner. Should he say, "go ahead and allow Rall," that's the law in these parts.
