Can't believe no one's shown one of these yet . . .
Even customized they're homely. Haven't decided if they're more like a bug with a huge hemorrhoid, a hearse crossed with a mini-cooper, or what . . .

"Uglier than an aztec!"
I didn't think that would be possible, but it is.
What is that thing? (Other than an abomination)

Whoa - nice choices, actually. I don't know how much driving you do outside of Tennessee, but I wouldn't, for me, consider a car that isn't AWD or 4WD optional anymore. Not big enough to hold kids, anyway. I've had great luck with Jeep Cherokees, both regular and Grand, which you have already as a backup (heckuva "backup!") - that Audi is a screamer if you can find one at the right price. I just drove a new Subaru Forester and it isn't big enough for you and 4 kids, IMHO, but it was a nice enough car. You could almost get into a Hummer used at that price, and it's a truly incredible vehicle, but I found the interior kinda claustrophobic (skinny windows) and even a bit cramped. But it will go absolutely everywhere. Just my $0.02...

It's a 1957 Reliant from the UK. Bean is well known for forcing these POSs of the road and causing them to roll!

funny thing is that the original only got two right out of six (both by AMC, batting 1000).
Aztek and anything Pugeot, Honda and Siane (?) something mini-SUVs, and that god-awful huge cadillac convert-a-truck parody have got to get blue ugly ribbons.

I'd include the '74 AMC Matador, '62 Plymouth Valiant, all Japanese-designed minivans, I have to insist on an exception to the "all Japanese-designed minivans" rule. The Mitsubishi Expo LRV was a good-looking minivan. I had one for many years (until a woman running a redlight totalled it), and it was great.

"That's the one. It was the only new car my dad ever bought.
It was actually a good little car, ugly as it was, especially with the 6. My mother bought one in 1959 for $25 (probably paid too much). I remember spending 3 days standing on my head reupolstering it.

LOL . . . Can't wait to see the first Arab designed car! Check out this three-wheeler from Corbin Motors, the 2000 Sparrow:

Yup. Built in East Germany. 2-stroke engines and the whole body was plastic.
