BUSH visits Cincinnati,Aug.16
Posted on 08/16/2004 9:06:41 PM PDT by timestax
August 16, 2004 Monday morning I took my Pro-Bush/Pro Troops signs to the Cincinnati Convention Center to counter the sKerry goons that I assumed would be there. THEY WERE there. First I was the only one on the side I was on, which turned out to be the WRONG entrance point. President Bush entered from a different entrance on the other side of the complex, so he didn't see my signs. But hundred of other pedestrians and VFW'ers did. Later another dude came by and asked if I need any help holding my signs, so I gladly went to my stock and pulled one out for him. Pics following
This is me and my one of my signs.timestax

Don't know about Ohio, but Calumet City, Illinois once had the highest concentration in the nation (its largely black now).
Guess what city has the highest percentage of Poles as a share of its population in the USA (hint: It aint Chicago and it aint even in the midwest).

Wallington, New Jersey, near Paterson. Great bakeries and butcher shops for your Kielbasa.

I have never heard of "Wallington," and I'm damn good at geography. It sounds British. Heck, this left coaster has heard of even Bay Ridge, and knows a fair amount about its voting habits. :)

Its a small blue collar town on the Passaic River. Lots of "New Poles" who have come since 1981.
You must also be familar with the voting habits of my current place of residence (this will NEVER be home), Seattle, being that its filled with so many ex-Californicators.

Ya, I shopped for some real estate investments there about 13 years ago, and got to know the neighborhoods well. I liked Queen Anne and Magnolia the best. But it was too expensive. I made my move in Portland instead, which proved brilliant for awhile, but not so brilliant lately. But it has proved a nice diversifier for SoCal. Politically, the place has moved steadily Left, which is no surprise, indeed enough Left to tip the state a bit more Dem, despite the best contra efforts of Eastern Washington.

Any freep of sKerry planned for Wednesday? I was thinking of showing up wearing a Santa Claus suit with a Christmas list showing my delivery to Kerry in Vietnam not Cambodia. All depends on how hot it is.

Remember to include a sign eluding to the fact that Kerry praised Ho Chi Minh and compared him to George Washington. People need to know about Kerry. We can do it through signs and such like these. I like the Santa idea!
