From the VVAW site: Bush has waged the first acknowledged pre-emptive war in U.S. history

My friend quoted this same line to me. Does anyone know where this comes from? I guess it is a Michael Moore thing? Just off the top of my head what about Kosovo, Panama, and Grenada? Weren't those pre-emptive?

Is this something FRN needs?

No, we posted the complete VVAW FBI files at WinterSoldier.com months ago.

I suppose there's been a pre-emptive element to every war we've ever fought, in that part of the reason we fought was to prevent the enemy from doing any more damage to us than they already had, to the extent that we were able to prevent them. I don't think that's ever been the only reason, but when it suits their purpose the media will portray that as the only reason.

By the way, if AL Quida planned to execute 9 US Senators we would call it a "Terrorist Plot".

What do you call it when a US citizen was invovlved in a plot to assassinate 9 US senators?

Guess you call it a disgruntled veteran protesting a war. Not worthy of media attention(since it was a liberal that was planning treasonous and terrorist activities). This needs to be addressed by the pubbies somehow and publicized.

AP sued the Pentagon to demand release of Bush's military records, so the Pentagon released them. Why isn't someone suing to have Kerry's records released?

I could be wrong but I thought that the suit enabled release of Bush's records pertaining to his when he was assigned and where, not his payroll or performance records.

Russert asked Bush on TV if he would agree to release ALL of his military service records; Bush said yes; they were released, examined, and found to have such glowing reports of his capacity as a pilot, etc., that no one heard any more about them.

But the fact he was there and took part in the discussions is probably a crime

And JF'n has a security clearance today that gives him access to the most highly classified information this country has !!!!!! So much for our screening process huh?
