FREEP REPORT: FReepers defend America's honor from leftist scum in Santa Monica
dfu on the scene | 8-12-04 | dfu

It was a great day in the leftist stronghold of Santa Monica, CA as a contingent of true Americans, led by the FReepers, defended America's honor and came face to face with human scum.

The President and Mrs. Bush along with Arnold made a visit to Santa Monica this afternoon. Ah, yes, Santa Monica, CA. The city with rent control and regulations that would have made an Eastern Bloc Soviet stooge proud. The city with homeless peeing on the sidewalks. The city whose business policies are trying to run business out of town. In California, it is Berkeley South.

We surprised the scumbags today with a force of several hundred on their home turf...

Check out THIS strange incident, as reported by a law student who attended our rally last Thursday to welcome President Bush to Los Angeles

Pics From Bush in Santa Monica Today

I went to the Bush fundraiser in Santa Monica today. Here are some pictures and a short report. I got there to 31st and Ocean Park Blvd about 2pm. The gathering was officially scheduled to start at about 3 and go until 5pm. Here's the scene as I arrived...

-- snip --

A lady I was standing next to was BITTEN by the child of an anti-Bush lady.
Apparently she was having her kid go around trying to BITE people with Bush stickers...

A brave bicyclist had passed the entire assembly about an hour into the rally holding a sign that said:
"LIBERATE the People’s Republic of Santa Monica!"
That, of course, would be the FReeper known as rockitz

I would have been there if I hadn't been out of town, RonDog. But I am seriously getting tired of the way the police act like we don't have any rights at these rallies.

A few weeks ago the President and Kerry were in town within days of each other. I went to see the President and upon leaving was shrieked and sworn at by a variety of Kerry supporters. We had no show of support for the President and were blocks from the venue. A few days later I walked a couple of blocks to see Kerry at an outside rally. I didn't have tickets but stood by 3 Bush supporters who quietly stood to the edge of sidewalk with pro-Bush signs. Again, we were shrieked at.

There is something seriously wrong with these people and there is something seriously wrong with their candidate who cannot seem to generate anything but hatred for the President and half the country that approves of him.

Ron, thank you for posting this outstanding account.
What a pleasure to participate in this rally with such
genuinely committed Americans.
The children present were amazing.

As I trailed our group heading back to our cars I hated to leave, but our leader told us that the Santa Monica police were going to start cuffing people...
That would be me.

And HERE is what had me concerned, from www.smmirror.com:

(Note the cluster of plastic handcuffs
now hanging from each officer's belt.)
Some time after our previously announced rally end time (5 pm), one of my fellow rally leaders showed me that Santa Monica's finest had all been issued these plastic cuffs...
...that I do not recall them wearing EARLIER in the day...
...so we decided that it was time to "declare victory, and go home."

Doesn't this qualify as some form of abuse that I should be protected from by the Constitution or something? Heh heh heh.

It's really important that people be confronted by this reality. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for one of the best reports from a FR Rally ever written RonDog. It sickens me to read about the rude disgusting behavior of fellow human beings in a city that I love so much, but thank God you all were there.

:o( I wish I'd been there; it looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Call me crazy, but watching all those wacky kerry supporters going around in circles like headless chickens is part of the fun. I hope I will be able to be there the next time President Bush is in town (I already made my "W" signs). Thanks for the report RonDog!

"Today as Americans are fighting and dying in Iraq, Hanoi John Kerry’s picture hangs in the war museum in Hanoi (Ho Chi Minh city)"

Just for the record, "Ho Chi Minh City" was formerly known as Saigon, not Hanoi.

"At one point my friend next to me joined in, “John Kerry helped lose South Vietnam. John Kerry lost my home.”"

Speaks volumes.

Kerry's kind apparently haven't learned anything (you'd figure a few million dead in Indochina right after we pulled out might've been the final piece of the puzzle, but I guess not for them...), because IMHO, they're trying to do the same thing TODAY with IRAQ.

US Senator Dianne Feinstein, D-CA, in Santa Monica, Ca, February, 2004. Feinstein is a chief sponsor of a a bill to create a position to oversee all US intelligence.

What can you say about a town , that named Monica a Saint? Saint Monica?
