This story has been successfully buried by the media, next to the Berger story, above the Senate Intelligence Committee note story.

According to the Drudge Report, historian Doug Brinkley, author of "Tour of Duty," is writing a piece for the New Yorker saying it was actually January 1969 when Kerry was sent into Cambodia, not December 1968..................."I remember Christmas of 1968 sitting in a gunboat in Cambodia," said Kerry on the Senate floor. "I remember what it was like to be shot at by Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians,

Wait a minute! Khmer Rouge didn't take the area in Cambodia until 1971, right???

Better check that out.

Why can't this lying sack of sh*t just give it up? He got caught red handed. The hits just keep on coming.

This story needs to be re-enlivened!!!
It was on the talk shows last week, now the Olympics and storm have taken over the news.
How can we invigorate this, or do the swiftvets have more plans to go live?
I sure need some reassurance the swiftvets aren't just letting this drop???????????????????????

Ok January 69 not December 68...

But he still wasn't sent by Nixon.

He still wasn't in "an area between Viet Nam and Cambodia" (There isn't any)

He still wasn't in a part of the Mekong River that forms a border between the two countries. (There isn't any such place).

So they have more lying to do.

if you think about it, the Cambodia angle is fairly important to his later assertions of war crimes and violations of international law. if he wasn't in Cambodia, then the administration (and ain't it convenient that a republican was president by January) committed no malfeasance.

this guy is *still* spinning his story.

Alger Hiss insisted he was innocent of being a Soviet agent, even after his case was turned down by the U. S. Supreme Court. He went to his grave insisting that he was innocent. Now we have the very real possibility of seeing Kerry's campaign implode over the Cambodia lie. Folks, this is history in the making!

Will Kerry get his crew members to lie to back up the new "corrected" Cambodia story being cooked up by his flackster Douglas Brinkley? I hope the major media smells a Pulitzer Prize in the "corrected version" that Brinkley is preparing for the New Yorker. I can't wait to read the new and improved lie. Doesn't Kerry know that anyone saying he was on "secret missions" is usually lying?

I'm surprised that Brinkley would risk his reputation as a presidential biographer to enable Kerry's lying. He must be getting some really BIG bucks for the new fairy tale. Developing.
