Although there are lots of things about this story that make it highly questionable, there is one particular thing about this that makes it an absurd lie. I'll give the answer later if no one guesses it.

If the other boat was close enogh for the dog to land on it then it was close enough to be within shouting range at best.

uhhhh........the dog was catapulted off......before he was catapulted on???????
To: Jim_Curtis
If the other boat was so close to jk's boat that the little dog "catapulted" onto the deck, why didn't the blast shake up the other boat as well?

the other boat called to ask if a dog was missing. that seems to be a long way for a dog to fly through the air...

Strange story.
If the two boats were close enough for the dog to be thrown from one to the other, why would they need to search for minutes for him? The other boat would have seen what happened and known that it was kerry's boat's dog. They also would have been able to shout to them immediately rather than contacting them by radio some amount of time later.

Kinda like the "licorice" story didn't make sense to me.
He jumped into the water then grabbed an oar to fish out the hampsters cage. If he was allready in the water why would he need the oar?
