Okay, please don't flame me. I'm honestly interested in what freepers think about this.
Ever since Rush came back from rehab and started talking about "living a lie" and "not being able to make other people happy" and all that, I've had the uneasy feeling that Rush had "discovered" something more about himself than he was letting on.
Today, listening to Rush as he talked about his empathy for McGreevy, it seemed inevitable to wonder if Rush's empathy (and, please, if you did not hear Rush's comments, realize it's difficult to assess the tone and emotion with which he delivered them) wasn't tied back to his own "living a lie" struggles.
Yes, it would be easy to think that the "lie" was his drug addiction, but . . . I'm posting this because it really seemed as though Rush might be warming up to his own bombshell (whatever that might be).
His commentary was so passionate, in a personal, not political way, that I even wondered if he was (unconsciously) seeing if he could start a thread like this, in order to see what the speculation might be and what the reaction to that speculation might be.
Who heard Rush's opening commentary on McGreevy and what was your reaction/thoughts? Thanks. I'd be interested to know.
This is not the first time you have bashed Rush. Why can't you admit you hate Rush. You suggested Rush was gay and I'm suggesting you are full of s**t.
"aural sex"?
That's perfectly acceptable, between two consenting auras. :D
I agree. This is another way the left hijacked the English language. Homosexual is not something you ARE, it is something you DO.
Yes!
"I always assume his anti-women comments are meant for a specific woman who used him and did him wrong."
All the hetero men I know have a whole litany of anti-women comments...which are kept strictly between the men....
Rush calls himself an entertainer.....sometimes I am not entertained. Is that a crime?
I'm a Skinny-American...and I hate Fat-Americans. (just kidding, I hate Ugly-Americans, just kidding)
"And this is the high point of your day because?"
Maybe because Rush's audience is so vast this might attract other potential Freepers.
Twice in the last two months I heard some phrases from Rush that sounded like similar things I'd said here. It's like getting a kiss on the lips from the man (without the cigar smoke). Kinda cool. (Although if he is gay I will have to get out the antiseptic Scope bottle and drink it.)
Well said.
How does what I said constitute a bash?
DITTO TO THAT! Ding! Ding!
And where in tarnation did I suggest Limbaugh is gay?!
It appears a certain freeper needs anger management...LOL.....sheesh. Pay the so called patriot no mind at all.
Rush is placing the political blame where it belongs - squarely in the laps of NJ democrat bosses. McGreevy certainly has issues and problems that are only just beginning, but the party is using him shamelessly. With due diligence and determination, McGreevy can salvage his life...but IMO those using him are beyond redemption.
Well, good for him then! I know how it is -- you try your hardest to keep your OWN marriage vows and you need to be hit over the head that the partner is NOT keeping theirs. If that's what his marriage was like, I am glad it's over. He does sound happier.
KOOK ALERT!!
In case I have Rush's ear: The MIA Cover-Up
Snip
Sen. John Kerry, the committee chairman, told one of the investigators that if the report ever leaked out, "you'll wish you'd never been born."
Kerry's Beacon Hill Neighbor Talks to NewsMax
I think he's the rudest, ugliest, most arrogant man I've ever met," she replied without a second's hesitation.
(*What a guy!)
