I may only be 16 years old (just had a birthday!!), but even I know that there are no POW/MIA's in North Korea, right???? I am really hoping that some of you will get as busy as I will with this.
I will be calling everyone that I know at the DPMO first thing tomorrow morning. I know that Charles Jenkins is considered a deserter, but he has more to gain by helping our government than he does by going against it. If he has even one ounce of proof, we must make sure that our government investigates every piece of evidence that Charles Jenkins can offer.......let's finally bring one home alive!!!
Let me know what you think!!

even I know that there are no POW/MIA's in North KoreaThanks for the post. You are right on, it's more important to get information on any surviving POWs than it is to go after Jenkins. Let's first worry about settling the fates of those men.
To: NikkiUSA
Yikes!
Little Kim Jong Il keeps claiming that there aren't any POW's still there.
But he has stated that there are 'defectors'.
I've always wondered if he said that to 'hedge' his bets and admit there are Americans there, but not have ot admit they're POW's.

STATEMENT OF SGT. BARRY F. RHODEN (The McCarthy Transcript Liberals Do Not Want You To Read)
U.S. Senate ^ | 7/4/03 | Senate Testimony
Posted on 07/04/2003 3:15:23 PM EDT by DPB101
Executive Sessions of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Government Operations (McCarthy Hearings 1953-54). Closed according to Senate rules for 50 years, these hearings are now available to researchers and the public.
(snip)
Senator POTTER. How long were you behind the enemy lines?
Sgt. RHODEN. I was taken prisoner and shot on the 31st of August of 1950. Later I found out it was the 7th of September when I made it back to our lines. The affidavit I have there, sir, I believe it says I was captured and shot on the 1st of September. On my medical record they say I made it back to my lines, or I was wounded, on the 7th of September. That is the date I made it back to our lines.
