All the money from the book is going to Navy Relief. I believe you mean to say that all profits will go to military charities. The vast majority of the money they take in will go to fund running their ad.
I did not mean to imply anything negative about them taking in money. To the contrary, I believe the donations they receive will be well and honorably earned.

Oh, man, that is brilliant! You are talented!

What BS!! I guess it all depends on what the meaning of "with" is. If it means under his command, then this statement might be true. But these guys served in the boats that accompanied John Kerry, so that does mean "with" in my book. Actually the statement is correct. The veterans did serve with Kerry. Had the veterans been under his command, then the more accurate statement would have been that they served under Kerry.

You are stating that as a fact. Do you know that for a fact? Got a source?

"Make no mistake -- controversy surrounding potential "dirty laundry" still sells in American politics and this is a sterling example of it. But most surprising is that despite Sen. McCain's swift and very public repudiation of this ad and the lingering questions on the veracity of the charges, it still ends up being a net negative for Kerry - especially among crucial undecided voters. Great news. I'm sure the Rats didn't expect this
or maybe they did.

So all this negative stuff against the author and co-author isn't doing much to save Kerry from himself.

My one fear is that we unleashed it too early. You only have to make slurs late if they are phony. Kerry can easily answer this one by releasing his records. If he's right, that will settle it.
He can't argue in Oct. or Nov. that he didn't have enough time to respond.

Uh, except he was in the Naval Reserve when those actions occured. John Kerry committed high treason after he arrived back here.

I meant that when he protested the war and met with the North Viets and the Cong, he was still in the military technically.
