"But most surprising is that despite Sen. McCain’s swift and very public repudiation of this ad and the lingering questions on the veracity of the charges, it still ends up being a net negative for Kerry – especially among crucial undecided voters."

My gut tells me that this is because people have a basic sense of unease about Kerry. There's something wrong with the man.

I am amazed that the Demos put forth such an unsuitable candidate - and then I think of Hillary.

I hope the vets survive the viciousness of the personal attacks sure to increase more and more.

Something BIG is going to drop in the next few days on the Kerry Camp, re: Vietnam service, relating to the Cambodian charge and some other things. Watch it happen. The press will not be able to ignore it. It will also move undecideds even more out of neutral territory away from Kerry. You heard it here first. And NO I am not going to be specific yet since DU trolls, the DNC, Kerry campaign, fascist lawyers for the libs, etc. lurk here on a daily basis.

I had heard this from a knowledgeable woman in Washington D.C.

hanoi john is worse than slick, slick when backed into a corner would take a position and stick with it, hanoi john couldn't choose between two identical red ties to wear.

We don't need any more whacky 1st Ladies. Mrs slick was enough for my life time.

My one fear is that we unleashed it too early. The Dims have a ton of time to collect hit material on the writers and vets, and to challenge the accuracy of the ad. This is the kind of thing we need to do in October, IMO.

Too bad for the Dems that Bush doesn't have a war record to criticize.

Worry not. What is coming has a LONG shelf life. I guarantee it. You will be amazed. Lots of people will.

No, just the opposite. Knock down his character now, create doubts as to his integrity... followed by the assualt on his Senate record in Sept-October.

What a tool. Gotta laugh at these idiots, whats good for the goose and all that. They laughed it up while Bush got hammered on his national guard records...in 2 election years...laughed it up at Michael Moore's propaganda piece, but when the truth comes out against them, they scurry like cockroaches. Serves em right, we haven't even begun to fight yet let alone throw the mud they've been throwing all year.

Yes. You have to shake the opponent's foundation first in these kinds of things. ie.e. character, truth/vs/lies, honesty, accuracy, dependability, manliness, strength vs. cowardice. All those come first and it will take 30-45 days of this in Phase 1. Then Phase II, the Senate Record stuff, can go for another 30 days. You add into that a stunning George Bush performance in the three debates, and a Cheney walloping of Edwards in their VP debate on national security, and then, the mass of undecideds have already made their shift over the fence, in the swing stages. A crescendo of a giant, final TV blitz, unmerciless in nature and coverage, in the final 72 hours before the polls open. And Viola. Electoral College heaven.

No service record has been cavity searched, and subsequently smeared, like George W. Bush.

What's your passive agressive point?

I hope you're right. Usually, I get bad feelings about these types of prognostications because they never pan out. But like I said, I really hope you're right.

Hi,

I've asked the same question on a couple of threads but not received any answer. I think it is best to be careful and not give the "enemy" any ammo.

Maybe you can find some other way to help.

John Kerry, delusional or bs artist. Thinking he was Martin Sheen and thinking Nixon was president.

Actually, technically he is Chief Phillips, the captain of the boat the ferried Martin Sheen into Cambodia, of was is Laos?

There was a thread here today noting that people think Therayza is *different*.

I have spent my adult life making and selling things. I can tell you that when an average American calls something *different*, it is the kiss of death.
