There is a pic of Evita and Lurch under the headline, which currently is unclickable. More news to follow, I would gather.
UPDATE
XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX WED AUG 11, 2004 11:46:29 ET XXXXX SEPARATE HOTEL ROOMS AFTER SHOUTING MATCH
**Exclusive**
Democrat presidential hopeful John Kerry and his wife got into a heated argument after a campaign rally in Arizona Sunday night -- a heated argument so hot they spent the night in different rooms!
A well-placed law enforcement source tells DRUDGE how Kerry and Teresa Heinz moved to separate suites at Flagstaff's Little America Hotel.
"It was a cooling off, nothing more," says a top source.
The stress of the campaign and the nonstop tour of battleground states is taking a toll on the Kerrys.
Teresa Heinz Kerry has been confiding in staffers how the tour is just "nonstop movement" and how there "is no time just to 'be.'"

"Teresa Heinz Kerry has been confiding in staffers how the tour is just "nonstop movement" and how there "is no time just to 'be.'"If she can't handle a few months on the campaign trail, I wonder what 4 years as first lady would do to her. She won't be able to handle it.
By the way, does anyone ever remember this kind of thing with any other candidate? By the time most men run for President, their wives are quite well versed at handling the pace of campaigns.

The incident is a microcosm of all that is wrong about liberalism and modernism. In fact, as much as I despise J. F'n. K, I feel sorry for the guy. He is in the midst of a swirl of Leftist, Baby Boomer living. Not to be a so called MCP, but this is case in point in terms of all the nagging doubts I have about the whole women's lib thing. Dr. Laura was quoted (and captured in another FR thread) to say that it's a no win situation for most husbands these days. I can attest that this is true.

they are light years from the relationship that George and Laura have Completely agreed. I really like and admire Laura. She's her own person, says she tells the president when she disagrees with him, earlier in marriage tells him to shape up or ship out... and thereby helps him fulfill his greatest potential. And all the while, she's got the class and self-confidence to always support him in public. We don't get many first ladies like this any more.
I remember in the 2000 campaign, his staff wanted to get Laura on the trail with him because he was more focussd and happier with her around. Not so here.

A well-placed law enforcement source tells DRUDGE... Apologies in advance if this has already been asked and answered, but I don't have time to catch up on a 500+ reply thread. The sentence quoted above might imply that the argument was a little more than "heated" if someone called law enforcement. Any confirmation that law enforcement was actually involved in the incident?

I never expected 500+ responses. The most I ever got before was 190 for an article on the Fermi Paradox - mostly the geek wing of FR - and that took 4 days to get there!

This is all a well orchestrated Torricelli Gambit. The Clintoons are behind this. The Kerry Campaign will explode completely right before the RNC, after the RNC. The beast that cannot be named will come out and announce that Kerry can no longer represent the Democratic party effectively for president, and will force McAwful to pull the party support for Kerry and have her in his place instead.
