Well, I have a new honey for my carry gun: A Sig Sauer P245. I love it. Just have to put tritium night sights on her and I'm all set.Tritium sights are definitely a plus in low light conditions. Sigs are very easy to field strip and clean. That was a factor in my wife's selection of the Sig 225. She finds a 1911 too daunting to strip and reassemble.

I'm afraid I may have to add on a doo-dad I have always disdained. My eyes aren't the greatest anymore at my age (47) and it's getting harder to see my front sight. A buddy suggested I put one of those "Laser-Max" gizmos (replaces the recoil guide rod assembly right beneath the barrel). I generally don't like lasers, but my friend suggested that the dot might be more visible than the sights, or at least help with sight alignment. I'm thinking about it. They ain't cheap, either!
