Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned. |

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Hundreds of travelers were evacuated from Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday while authorities investigated whether three people entered a terminal without going through security.
Two terminals were closed after some travelers apparently walked the wrong way along a corridor that was supposed to be for passengers exiting after a flight, Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Andrea Fuentes said.
The three were never found and it was not immediately clear who they were, Fuentes said. She said investigators believed any breach was accidental.
The airport reopened after police finished checking the area, but the 80-minute closure delayed many flights.
Hundreds of evacuated passengers needed to be re-screened before they could re-enter the terminal.

Woman Arrested Boarding Flight To Syria With $24,000 Hidden In Clothes (Al Qaeda mule fleeing USA?)

Hi, Fred:
I am reading thru the thread, so apologies if someone else answers this further down.
Several years ago, there was a large article in the US Popular Science about plasma weapons and microwave weapons. Recently, there was a heat weapon using microwaves shown on US TV for use in Iraq.
Wasn't the SCRAM jet prototype Australia just tested a joint US/OZ venture? That wasn't in WA, IIRC, but nearer to the center, near Alice Springs?
Point is: these weapons exist and the collaboration between our 2 countries does, as well.
The article seems to end in 1997. Have there been reports of plasma sightings since then?
The article mentioned NZ (although the detail was all WA). Isn't the present government there virulently anti-war? I can't see them collaborating w/us or w/Australia on weapons.

FDA Approves Dirty Bomb Antidotes
Associated Press
WASHINGTON - The Food and Drug Administration approved two new products Wednesday designed to help deal with the consequences of terrorists using dirty bombs.
Acting FDA Commissioner Lester M. Crawford told The Associated Press that the products, to be available by prescription only, are designed to speed up elimination of radiation from the body.
Dirty bombs have become an increasing concern. Unlike warheads designed to kill and destroy through a huge nuclear blast and heat, so-called dirty bombs are radiation weapons. They would rely on conventional explosives to blow radioactive material far and wide. A successful bomb could make a section of a city uninhabitable for years.
The agency said the goal is to provide protection from both nuclear accidents and threats. It said the two drugs are safe and effective for treating contamination from the elements plutonium, americium or curium.
The FDA said that while these drugs have been in use on an experimental basis for several years, until this action there have been no approved drugs for treatment of internal contamination by the three radioactive elements.
Plutonium, americium or curium can enter the body through a variety of routes including ingestion, inhalation or direct contact through wounds. By removing them quickly the victim may avoid possible future effects including the development of certain cancers, which may occur years after exposure, FDA said.
Approved were:
_Penetate calcium trisodium injection, Ca-DTPA.
_Penetate Zinc trisodium injection, Zn-DTPA.
Yes DC I did.
Thank you.
Please tell me you're making that up.

GENERAL QUESTIONS FOR THE GENERAL AUDIENCE
Ask the average guy to define the term "innocent people."
What would he say?
Ask a jihadi to define the term "innocent people."
What would the jihadi say?
Would the average guy and the the jihadi have the same answer?
If you did not answer NO to the last question; you; better start researching the term "jihad" pronto.
The Justice Department has interviewed a man who appears in the videotape of American landmarks that was found in the apartment of a accused Detroit terror cell. The man tells authorities it was amateur tourist footage and not surveillance as prosecutors portrayed to jurors. A story is upcoming in about 30 minutes.
Its brilliant, there is no denying that. Those PLA officers were first rate strategists using real world tactics.
I've been reading it and using it as a thumb rule for about a year now, and it seems to be right on the nail every time.
I wonder how Al Qaeda came to possess it?
Of course if EOM is narcissistic, then he's erroneously envisioning himself as hero, leader, or link in the chain of wannabe evil satanic tyrants of the world. If so, then there certainly is a large "L" imprinted on his forehead.

KHARIJIS IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Last column: % Khariji of the population

Oman 1,200,000 43%
Tunisia 5,000 0.05%
Total *) 1,420,000 0.33%
Other countries 100,000
*) Calculated for the total population of North Africa and the Middle East, approx. 430,000,000.
The smallest of the three orientations in Islam, today counting for less than 1% of all Muslims. Sunni Islam counts for about 90%, and Shi'i for about 10%.
The Kharijis broke with the majority of Muslims in 658. They didn't accept that the Muslims had agreed upon setting down two arbitrators that should decide on the legitimacy of the actions that among other things had resulted in the death of Caliph Uthman in 656. They couldn't accept that man should be judge over the divine word.
The Kharijis soon appeared with very strict proclamations, as well as violent acts. Everyone else were called infidels and they killed many of their opponents. The Kharijis grew slowly in strength by joining up with other groups.
The Kharijis are known for strict rules on morals and contact with strangers. Their creed says that anyone can be the leader of Islam, and not only the descendants of Muhammad as the Shi'is believe.
The Kharijis believed strongly in the equality between all races, an important factor to understanding the success they had in Islam's early days, when many of the non-Arab Muslims felt they were treated as inferior to the Arabs.
In modern times, we find Kharijis in Oman (where it is dominating), and as small groups in northwestern Libya, on Jerba in Tunsia, in southern Algeria and in East Africa. These Kharijis belong to the moderate branch established by Abdullah ibn Ibad around year 700.
