Credit: The Cabal The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger. "Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix." We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned. |

Karbalaa Islamic Education Center Director Imam Husham Al-Husainy leads chants in Dearborn, Friday. Iraqi-Americans gathered to demand that the United States military pull out of their homeland. The demonstrators demanded an end to the fighting in the Islamic holy city of Najab. They also called for holding elections in Iraq before the end of 2005 as scheduled.

I demand you stop practicing and supporting a murderous ideology or get out of my homeland.
so why don't they go back to Iraq, and get out of our homeland?
I grew up in that area as well. 111th and Kedzie grandmother lived at 79th and kedzie good to see a fellow chicagoan here.
My forecasting skills have gotten good, too bad it ended up so powrful.
There's another to watch that might be taking a similar track.
This was TD #4, now TS Danielle. It's going to stay out to sea. It formed way on out there. August storms rarely track across the whole Atlantic Basin.
I think this is going to be a very active season though, I would expect more storms (probably another large hurricane) to his the US before it is all over.
I'm getting some reports that the death toll may top 100 with Charley. What a sad event...
Yes it is. We're still looking at trouble on the coast. The ground is already saturated in JM's neck of the woods. They need no more water.
Well, if the track on TD-5 verifies, it will also be going over some of the warmest waters in the North Atlantic System.

You will notice that Charley took the path of warmest water available. This was part of the reason for the explosive development yesterday.
You are right about "stirring" up the sea, the process is called upwelling (cooler water comes to the surface). That said, that water in the GOM is so warm that I am not sure how much upwelling did occur (especially since the storm was moving fast).
The final track is highly dependent on the East Coast trough. There are some indications that the trough will relax somewhat in the coming days. If that occurs, a recurve similar to Charley is unlikely.
If I had to make a guess at this time, I would say the storm is headed for the western or northern GOM (more typical track for an August storm in that region). If this is a hurricane when it gets into the Gulf, the chances are very good for another large storm.
Just have a little bit to check in folks, so heres an update on the Chesapeake Bay/Tidewater area.
Its been raining like crazy, and we are already starting to flood in some places. The winds are supposed to start in about 2-3 hours, and I have completed my preps and finished my shopping.
Everything is staged. Now comes the wait. I dont expect this to be too bad, but I may lose power for a few days and be out of the loop.
Gonna take a nap now, because this will be an evening/nightime hurricane for us, and I hate those the worst.
Thanks for all the prayers and concerns, folks.
The storm is being downgraded to a TS as of the new advisory but rain will still be a major problem for many areas on the East Coast.
The cloud shield has made it up to CT now and TS warnings are up for the coast. Looks like Charley will pass right overhead this area tomorrow morning.
Stay safe down there.
More will follow on Analysis of this storm... I better get to mowing before the rain comes. ;)
LOL!!! That was mentioned in the hurricane thread yesterday. Someone out there racing to get the grass cut before Charley hit.
On it. There were NG and deputies from surrounding counties (including Broward) in place before sunrise.
I'm finding nothing at all. I guess that since S&R folks couldn't get in, neither could the goblins. The response to this event has got to be the best ever.
