The AWB BS will die on the vine because it didn't bear fruit and the socialist rats know it......As stated above they want a total BAN not a cosmetic loophole law. They want em collected and destroyed. They won't live to see the day as they have made one grave error IMO......the SAW's on the street , remained on the street and short of the bayonet lug and a flash supressor etc remained in production and available. Thus their "we were safer when" bullsh*t rant is moot.

Final point is that the criminal element doesn't follow laws now. why do they think such will change with more feel good legislation that disarms the victim.

Clearly the socialist democratic agenda is to diasarm the general populace of law abidding people. They wan't to make arm chair felons from armed chair patriots. Easy to say what I would and would'nt do . Easier for the idiots to rant about why one "needs" an AR-15 vs a bolt action rifle. Really easy to vote these seditious bastards back to civilian status to enjoy the real world they impose on the sheeple.

Socialists don't want to play this game as presstitutes can't protect em if such were to bear fruit.

Stay safe Jack....

The U.S. Army marched from Normandy to Berlin into the teeth of fully-automatic fire from MP-40s. Most of our grunts carried 8-round Garands. A good eye, ammo discipline and grim-a&& determination will win the day.

Yes, but they were accompanied by other grunts with BARs, Thompson and M-3 grease guns, as well as various light to heavy machine guns. The other side's infantry was mostly armed with bolt action Mausers.

I don't know if I could afford to own one no matter how cheap the firearm was; sorta like shootin' anything between nickels and quarters downrange at a rate of 300 / min! They are expensive to shoot!

However, in the US Army, some of the most fun I had (aside from launching grenades or shooting LAWs) was firing the M-2HB. Pain in the but to clean, though - heavy springs, and massive assemblies. The reciever alone weighed at least 50 lbs.!

One of the secret's to the US Army's firepower was that fact that we put .50 cals on everything sturdy enought to hold 'em!

Re; Ammo prices. Supply and demand. Government over regulation is choking certain markets. This is true in more than just the firearms, and related, industries.

Hopefully, in 12 years, I'll be able to take the same kind of photo of my daughter. 11 months is a little young to be starting her on a full auto... ;-)

Do the Federales regulate the ammo industry? I haven't noticed.

I'd love to own a working Thomson SMG or a BAR, almost as much as I'd like a Winchester M1887 or a Broomhandle Mauser.

What doesn't the Federal government regulate half way to non-existance?

Start here. Google the rest.

Here's another one.

Funny how much INFRINGEMENT there is at the Federal Level despite the clear language of the document that is supposed to give them their pwoer to begin with.

Until she can consistanly hit her mouth with a spoon, I'm not gonna let her try and sling lead either. Until then, she'll just have to watch Daddy do it.

If this is a valid criteria then humblegunner is in trouble!

My 13 year old daughter certainly likes them!!

The suppressed Mac-10 goes great with the Disney shirt! Bet she'd love a t-shirt with the following image, if you can still find one:

Thank you, El gato. I was certain a fellow history buff would point out those very facts. German MG squads (especially those employing the MG42) more than took up the slack for their comrades cranking the bolts of their Mausers. Also, every American owes a debt to John Moses Browning, for his masterpieces of full-auto weaponry. I think that where I was going there, was: If all the American people will be able to field in any significant numbers will be semi-auto Mini-14s, Mini-30s, MAC 90s, etc., should the need arise, (and I suppose I should ad the
obligatory "God forbid," here) There is reason to believe we could prevail.... at least until we liberated some of the full-auto stuff from the tyrant. After all, we are paying for it with our taxes. Let's make sure we keep what we have, pass it on to worthy family and friends when we depart, and snap up those hugh-cap mags ever' chance we get.

Blah... preview mode is there for a reason.

"Looks like I need to make a trip to SA."

My spelling is bad enough, I don't need to confuse things even more by skipping entire words.....

Bottom line is the only effective means of defending our rights as citizens is being tested by the Marxists. Once the second amendment is repealed, the Democrat gestapo will send the dogs out to everyone that has a registered carrying permit. They will then take both gun and owner away.
