It won't be long before the democrats demand to know who leaked the name rather than point to the Times blabbing it across the face of the planet.

This AM, Chuckie "hair plug" Schumer on Blitzer's show, demanded to know just that.

They are so obvious.

The blame lies not with the NY Times, but with the Bush administration source who blabbed this information to the press.

This fits the pattern that the NY Times has displayed over the past year (and more).

The NY Times doesnt have any qualms about their actions harming America.

Way to go, NY Times.

Just remember, in a totalitarian state, you would be toast. It is only because of the freedom we have, bought and paid for in American blood that you can purposefully sabotage your own country.

The actual source appears to have been from Pakistani Intelligence. So, why would a Paki intelligence guy give the name to the NYT? The answer is because that would be the fastest way for a double dealing Paki to notify al Qaeda that they hade a mole.

BINGO!!

Copy of letter I just sent to several newspapers ...

The enemies within ....

An al Qaeda computer expert who was secretly arrested on July 18 and has since been providing critical intelligence on the terror group's plans for coming attacks on the West was rendered useless this week when he was outed by the Liberal Democrat, New York Times.

"By exposing the only deep mole we've ever had within al Qaeda, it ruined the chance to capture dozens if not hundreds more," former Justice Department prosecutor John Loftus told Fox News on Saturday.

How many more Americans will now DIE thanks to the New York Times and the Associated Press?

Let's add this news along with the revelations of other Associated Press reporters who told the Al-Quaeda terrorists how the United States was tracking them on their satellite telephones - they immediately quit using them to the media's delight and led to the DEATH of more Americans.

Let's add that to all those photographs by the "American" Associated Press reporters that were obviously taken from BEHIND enemy lines and the stories written solely by the islamist perspective. Interesting that ALL the locations where the Islamic Juhadist are shooting at American troops are always considered by the media as the "holiest of holies" and all the islamic attacks are brave and glorious.

Let's add the fact of the Iraqi prison "scandals" that all the press knew of in early January of 2004, who were informed immediately of all the problems and were kept informed of all the investigations. The lead democrats in the senate including Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy, to name only a couple, all knew of this also in January. When it appeared that the U.S. Marines were preparing the FINAL assault into Fallujah and bring the war to a halt, the media suddenly "discovered" this "scandal" and through it's well used and expert forms of propaganda techniques, inflamed, encouraged, and motivated the islamic extremists from there, and all other America haters to re-group and to fight on since they now had the backing of the "America's Left" -- just like during the Vietnam War. Even the names were the same --- Kennedy --- Clark --- Clinton --- KERRY --- aka the progressive democrat socialist party.

Shall I go on?

We have way too many clinton moles deep inside our intelligence security services - the State Dept is one huge communist/socialist country club.

And you wonder where the info was leaked from? That is why we need a formal declaration of War (or whatever) so we can find these traitors, send them to trial, and if guilty, shoot them!

There is another question: Who leaked the info to the NY Times?

... probably one of Clinton's people in the Justice Dept who was held over by Bush.

We know that Kerry recieved an Intell breifing around this time. I think there needs to be an investigation to determine if the Kerry campain "LEAKED" this secret information.

We Should demand that there be an investigation.

The NYTimes reporter got the name from an official during a news briefing, per other reports yesterday.

The one to blame is the 'official' who gave the name during the briefing.

What makes you think it was a Bush administration source?

There is a good article from newsweek on Msn.com. I like to verify and re-verify when I read stuff but it basically talks about the struggle that the U.S. has to deal with on releasing information. Do they blow the cover on this guy to make people scatter and try something else down the road or do they sit on the information and hopefully use it to pin the guys down and capture them.. or find even bigger and better information.

The odds are that the NY Times sent this information out because WE wanted them to.. smoking out whoever was attached to Kahn.

i gotta say.. lets get with it, guys. the NYT is already there. they opened the door for totalitarianism and went inside. they like that milieu and are currently publishing as they will after the usa falls.

The NYT of course has already stated it was leaked from the White House, but as can be seen a few posts up it was from Pakistani Intelligence.

This guy is a computer genius and I think they got 3 computers and were having him email terrorists to go to various spots so they could be arrested.

It was probably more than panties on the head that convinced him to do this.

It was helping so much the the NYT just had to expose it to put a stop to arresting the Freedom Fighters (Read Murdering Terrorists)

Newsweek reported today that only six people in the administration get the highest level security reports, of which this was one no doubt. The super-secret reports are coded with a red stripe down the side. No one who gets one of these reports would blab about a mole inside al Qaeda, which I am sure would be the most exciting thing to happen in years for us.

Either Khan's name was leaked intentionally to protect another mole still inside al Qaeda, or Khan was found out by al Qaeda as a result of Ghatani's capture and he had to be moved to a secret location and it made no difference if he was outed.

Basically, I don't think we have the full story on this yet. I repeat, there's no way the administration would out a mole inside al Qaeda.

You got it, why are there no arrests in cases like this ? Until someone is arrested and prosecuted we should expect more leaks like this.

Yep, and the world wide impact that the NY Slimes has would enable Islamo NY Slime watchers to realize that a double agent was working against them.

So the the NY Slimes release of the name and locality was a massive freebie flash warning to Islamofascists around the world.

This same technique was used by the communists working for the Washington Post and NY Slimes during the Carter years when CIA agents were being outed. One or both of these reprehensible papers would publish the name of an agent and where he was assigned like as a sec state employee in our Embassy in Athens. The exposed agent and his family members had to flee the country they were in or be captured or killed.
