Why Kerry Will Lose the Election

John Kerry will lose this election, and he will do so decisively. The defeat will go down as perhaps the only thing this candidate has ever done decisively.

We've just seen a four-day infomercial called the Democratic National Convention, where everyone put on his or her smiley face; Democrats were having a love fest. It was a sea change from their previous campaigning: For starters, they wouldn't even directly criticize the president -- all that vile Bush bashing of the last few months turned into gentle speeches with nary a mention of him. Secondly, the vehemently pacifist and rabidly anti-war party did a 180 degree turn around and created the most militaristic show since Eisenhower landed in Europe.

Kerry, saying he's "reporting for duty," greeted Americans in the most macho, Republican kind of way with a crisp salute. Then Kerry's fellow Vietnam veterans, who, like him, served on the U.S. Navy's "swift boat" patrol craft, swarmed the podium. Finally, Kerry's war-hero service ...

>>Good grief, comrade? If you don't know by now that kerry is a vietnam war "hero" (gag gag gag), you will by the time this election is over and he's crying into edwards' cheek that he once kissed.<>

Soo...you're saying he DID serve in Vietnam?

LOL!

Having read this article through, well, I'm gonna go out on a limb that will annoy the naysayers and "don't get cocky" types and say to John: It's over.

Sure, get the base going, etc. But I think enough nonpartisans will turn from Kerry that Bush will win no matter what. Of course, we must vote and etc. etc., but the writing's on the wall, folks.

Nice to be on the winning side of that for a change. :)

they wouldn't even directly criticize the president...

Must not have been watching the same convention as I was. I'm sick of the Kerry camp an the media lapdogs trying to spin the DNC Bush-bash as some sort of "positive" love fest. It was ABB, from start to finish.

Well, not completely. Here is a summary of the whole convention: Bush is an idiot...Vietnam...Bush is dumb...Kerry was in Vietnam...Bush has alienated our allies...Kerry saved a hamster...raise taxes on the rich, because Bush stole poor people's money and gave it to his rich buddies...Did you know Kerry was on a swift boat?...Bush hates the middle class, the environment, children and hamsters...Kerry is a Vietnam war hero...Bush will kill us all.

Nah, nobody criticized the President. Not at all...

After Beelzebubba Klinton won a second term AND Hildabeast Rotham won a Senate seat we should realize that anything is possible including a Prez. JFK.

We have to work as if our lives depend on defeating JFK because they just might.

I just hope it's not too long before the Polls flop to The Presidents favor, and stay that way. I admit, I'm nervous!

I could just see it now.In the first debate Kerry is going to come out swinging with "Where were you 35 years ago when I was gallantly serving my country in Viet Nam".GWB has to come back and hit a home run with that question,Kerry's going to collapse like a house of cards.Kerry and the democrats are just a mirage and a fun house room of mirrors.

I would like to believe you are right. However, having the media cheerleading for him might enable him to pull it out. There are a lot of voters who don't follow the campaign anything like we do. They don't have a clue about the real John Kerry.

I shake my head every day when I see what stories the local rag covers. They will usually run two stories a day about the election--one anti-Bush and one pro-Kerry. Given campaign finance "reform," Kerry has a huge advantage.

Watch out! Here comes the "great" Vietnam "hero" to save the day against all those big, bad terrorists.

Why, he'll just kill all them terrorists single-handedly — they'll all die from laughing so hard.

I hope to God he loses. Literally. I have been in a near constant state of silent prayer to God about this election and our President. Partially out of fear, partially out of desire, partially out of angst...I also am beginning to realize we who are conservative cannot do this on our own. We likewise cannot sit still and expect others to do the ground/grunt work. I've spent several hours making phone calls for the local Bush-Cheney effort. I've given as I could afford...somewhere around $500.00, and like I said, now I am trying to lift this up to God as much as possible.

In these final days before November 2, I also must watch my behaviour...reflecting a positive attitude toward any who might be persuaded to vote to re-elect President Bush. I try to be of good humor while also making clear my stand. Those who are full of hate, I am convinced, will not persuade others. God help me stay positive.

Let us not be weary in well doing, friends!! Please!

With every television media on Kerry's side (yes, this includes Fox with the exception of Hannity), Kerry needs to fall on his face in the debates. Even then, I'm beginning to think he'll take this election. Sadly for America, sheeple believe what they see on tv. And greater spin and dirty politicking have rarely been seen. It's beyond the pale.

I've been thinking about this and I think that Kerry has a very good chance of winning this election.

Let me tell you why. First, everybody is 4 years older and we haven't made any of my recommended infiltrations into the college age demographics.

A lot of older, more Conservative folks, who know more history, have died, or won't be able to make it to the polling places because of disabilities.

The universities and high schools are just as left wing, if not more, than in 2000. Most of those, if not nearly most will vote Democrat.

Second, the Democrat party is energized, knows where there idiotic constituency consists of, i.e. MTV, concerts against Bush, etc. They will get a lot of votes this way.

Third, the Democratic party is probably going to cheat in unprecedented numbers this election.

With all of the above combined, I think election night may very well be a total disaster for us.

I think we're in for a nasty surprise unless we start winning more hearts and minds and raise our voices to prevent vote fraud.
