In honor of places that we know we could eat without being interupted by Kerry... Please post your favorite BBQ joint, where it is and what your favorite thing is at that place...
Bunk House Barbeque
Clifton, Texas
Brisket, Sausage and Ribs
Not that it would do any good - but have you contacted the owner of Famous Daves an let them know how you feel? If more gun owners and CCW holders would hold to their convictions and let businesses know why the were no longer going to trade with them - they might get a clue.
Too bad more folks don't stand up for their principals.
Do ya'll remember a thread where the article stated women are attracted to men who smell like BBQ? Maybe a year ago here on FR.
Yes, I remember that. Not sure which thread it was on.
SCHOEPF'S OLD TIME BAR-B-QUE
702 E CENTRAL AVE
BELTON, TX
(254) 939-1151
Best I ever had....................
Yes I remember that thread *LOL* I laugh because it's true :o)
thanks - appears clay's closed down when the original owners moved. Found a few others that sound promising.
So did you ever get to the Swinging Door?
No I didn't! lol......Did you ever get me better directions?
"John Mueller BBQ. Austin, TX. Brisket."
...and the same at Louis Mueller's, Taylor, TX.
Geeeeezzzzz go read post 224.
Pierce's Pit BBQ (Tennessee style) off of route 60 near Toano, VA. (Williamsburg is a suburb of Toano). Never had any BBQ before or since as good.
Gosh - in a thread with over 500 responses, HOW could I have missed post #224? ROFL.........Ok - Farm to Market road 359 - very familiar with it...... got the directions - will venture out tomorrow in search of the Swinging Door and you are SURE this is a place to eat and not a Wh*%e House? Sure is a weird name........ ;^)
Johnny Boy's in La Plata, Maryland....and Anita's Barbecue Heaven in Alexandria, Virginia. Yum yum!
Well it WAS addressed to you, but then again you've been hanging out with yankees for some years and they don't listen well.
I hereby declare that CORKY'S Ribs are the best on the planet, bar none!.
I've eaten at the original CORKY's in Memphis, and just a few days ago, at the Atlanta's CORKY'S which is in Quinnette County,Duluth area. If I close my eyes, I can still taste em.
I'll have to find that one. I usually go to one of the Bodacious in the NE TX area.
LOL.....ya know, not only am I furnishing a new home, getting a daughter adjusted to college life, and doing yard work in this OVEN they call Houston - but I also homeschool an 8th grader! lol...... I "might" have missed a ping or two along the way......... ;^)
Corky's is pretty good. Doesn't compare to the Whole Hog though....or the Dixie Pig.
The place you mentioned in Sugar Land on 90 - is that near the sugar plant?
