Calling on Kerry to Release Military Records

Calling on John Kerry to Set the Record Straight, Release Military (and all other) Records

Considering the amount of attention that G W Bush's military records have received, I think that we should use this current flap to push for the full release of all Kerry records.

Myself, I was not in Vietnam with this guy and I don't know whether the charges against him are true or not.

But I do know that a complete release of his military records would certainly clear some of these questionable things up.

The right mantra: "Well, we'd all KNOW if he would just release his records"...

But the technique we need to use is to NOT ask Kerry, but his other supporters.

Thursday night Sean let Susan Estridge interrupt a Swift boat sailor who was giving his version of the event in question and Sean was respectful to the Kerry vet, but didn't lay a hand on him.

If he would have asked him: "Since you are sure that Kerry is a hero, you wouldn't have any objections to Kerry releasing his military records would you?"

THAT will put pressure on Kerry, getting his supporters to support it, NOT going straight to Kerry.

He'll just say NO.

But if his entire party is calling for it, that will be hard for him to ignore...

I call on Kerry to exhibit the scars on his body that earned him the purple hearts? Shouldn't a wound that is deserving of a purple heart at least be serious enough to leave a scar?

Yep. One would assume.

If there is nothing to hide, why not let it all out? After all, aren't his service activities and wounds a source of pride for him?

He should not only want the records opened up, but should want every American voter to see the great Navy man he was. GAG !!!!!!!!!

Here's the thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1186374/posts with the DD form 180 for Kerry to sign to release his records.

Mail it to him.

Hand it to him at rallies.

Give it to members of the press who have access to him.

Freep Time!

He needs to also release the award recommendation forms, not the citations or the orders. The recommendation forms would show who wrote it and how it was submitted.

Requesting Previously Denied Unit Records

After twelve years unit-assignment information is suppose to be unclassified. Thus, if you have been denied a copy of your unit records and twelve years has elapsed, you may be able to obtain them now by following the directions below:

Write to: Chief, Research and Rulemaking Branch Records and Management Division Dept. of the Army Office of the Adjutant General Alexandria, VA 22331 Be sure to include your name, your unit assignment, service number, and the dates and places you were assigned to. Request the extracts of the "Operational Reports - Lessons Learned" that were submitted by your Division, as well as the staff journals-after action reports.

U.S. Vertan Information

Kerry's personnel records will not really tell you to much about what happened. Someone who was with Kerry should request all opertional and after action reports.

He had sone scars added earlier this year when he was in for a shoulder ligament operation. Or was it during a botox session?
