WHAT KERRY DID [KJL]
Listen, he wasn't president on Sept. 11, and I am not questioning his reflexes or reactions, but it is worth noting what Kerry did do on Sept. 11, 2001. Here's what he told Larry King: "...And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon..."
Kudos to Red State for finding that. And for noting: "It should be noted that the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:43 a.m. By Kerry's own words, he and his fellow senators sat there for forty minutes, realizing 'nobody could think.'"
bttt
Exactly right. Kerry couldn't think for more than forty minutes when that plane hit the Pentagon. Why that's at least 33 more minutes of nonaction than GW. Who knew! Better not mention that on the campaign trail, however. Kerry might look...indecisive, like a waffler, a dangerous flip flopper who can't make up his mind.
Good Going Woofie, great idea on sending to Drudge.
Here are a few more of his Kerryisms
Did he really say this? Hard to believe.

Is this guy related to Gore. Maybe it was Kerry who invented the internet.
So? We all know Kerry had to study the complexity of the attacks. /sarcasm
And find someone with a camcorder.
Nice!
bump
Nope, I bet he was checking his hands for a papercut so's he could get the Medal of Honor award or somesuch.
Exactly "what did he know and when did he know it" and what did Kerry really do.
Woohoo! Nice find!
Hmmm, I see,...a Vietnam Vet with supposedly so much wherewithal that he threw his medals over the White House fence, and such presence of mind in combat on the Perfume River to abandon his mission and beach his boat to charge a lone Viet Cong who no longer posed a threat, yet when placed in a position of public accountability in the Senate, when also posed with immediate threat of harm to obvious US landmarks in the area as previously briefed in intelligence reports, could only find sufficient natural wherewithal after the second WTC attack to sit down with Barbara Boxer and Reid for the 40 minutes preceding the Pentagon attack.
Either Presence of mind, Immediate action and immediate obedience to orders is not in Kerry's intuition or Kerry knew 9-11 was going to happen beforehand and was complicit with Boxer and other socialists. I guess by his own testimony, he just couldn't think, the former describes his ability and lack thereof.
Thanks G Man, great post
Yes! I definitely don't want one who freezes up until the next explosion occurs! I've always admired President Bush for how he handled things on that day. Moore and Kerry are way out of line on this. Espcially since we know Kerry froze up and "couldn't think" until the explosions started happening next to him.
And Bush actually had to be concerned about the way his behavior would affect the kids.
Kerry only had "adults" surrounding him...
What was Kerry really doing for those 40 minutes?
I wish someone would get footage of that to Hannity.
I already made it into an email and sent it to some people with huge email lists.
Don't you know that'll make you go blind?
I'm getting REALLY tired of people stealing stuff from FR and not giving us credit! We worked this out earlier in this very day!!!
and we watched the second plane come in to the building
9:02:54 a.m.: United Airlines Flight 175 impacts the south side of the South Tower of the WTC between the 78th and 84th floors at a speed of over 500 MPH. Parts of the plane including an engine leave the building from its north side, to be found on the ground up to six blocks away.
And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon.
9:37 a.m.: American Airlines Flight 77 is lost from radar screens and impacts the western side of the Pentagon. The section of the Pentagon hit consists mainly of newly renovated, unoccupied offices. The Pentagon says American Airlines Flight 77 hits them at 9:37. Other published reports have American
So, for 35 MINUTES, John Kerry JUST SAT THERE??????
KING: Were you scared?
KERRY: No, I wasn't scared,
KING: Were you scared?
HEINZ KERRY: I was a little scared, actually.
I was scared before I wasn't scared
