Did the SBV say they served "with" or "for" Kerry? The letter seems to imply the latter while the SBV imply the former. That makes the first charge in the letter off-point.

Second, they talk about the Doc that signed the card ... will they release the cards and other documentation to prove that this doctor had nothing to do with the treatment? I see nothing in the letter denying the doctor rendered aid, only that there is no paper trail. Which is it?

Isn't one sailor that did serve on Kerry's boat a SBVfT member?

My understanding is that these men did serve with Kerry, just not under him. They were on the other 2 swift boats in his group. And the nonsense about the Doctor is transparant ("He did not sign the ..." blah, blah, blah)

Yes, I can. The letter claims the ad is libelous.

In fact, it's would be IMPOSSIBLE to win a libel claim about just about anything said about a high profile politician. Any lawyer will tell you don't even bother with a libel suit if a person is a public figure....anything goes.

You can serve with someone and not be on their boat. The boats traveled in tandem with other boats. When not on the boats, they were together.
