Does that mean it's ... who? Vinne Testaverde at QB?

Driven away?

Like in a car?

Or by torches?

Yes. Norm Hitzges on the TICKET just confirmed it.

Vinny's the man, now.

I would assume so. After all, I don't think Drew Henson would be ready, would he ? At least not mentally as far as making reads, knowing the offense, etc. Perfect situation for him. The old veteran teaches him and then shows him what it looks like on the field. The Cowboys offensive line seems to be really coming together from what I've been reading, so late in games when the Boys are blowing people out, Vinnie could get some rest and give Drew some reps. Everybody knows Drew is the QB of the future.

Testaverde can't get it done either, but he's better than Carter.

Geeee.....same thing happened to Jimmy Hoffa!

Seriously, would the Cowboys cut the starter that got them into the playoffs, against all odds offered prior to the season?

This bears watching. I'll see if nfl.com has anything about it....

HA! The Ravens might be looking. It's about time they found another washed-up, has-been, never-was.

Just yesterday Parcells was talking on ESPN about Carter being the starter.

Cue the music: "What A Difference A Day Makes."

Here's the complete text from Dallascowboys.com

OXNARD, Calif. - Cowboys starting quarterback Quincy Carter is not at Wednesday's morning practice here at training camp in Oxnard, Calif., and witnesses say they saw him being driven out of the Residence Inn parking just before the start of practice.

The club is not commenting on Carter's absence, but obviously will address the matter at head coach Bill Parcells' daily press conference, carried live on DallasCowboys.com at 11:30 (PDT).

...and yet still manages to get them into the playoffs. As a Steeler fan, I don't like Baltimore, but I don't underestmate them either.

Nothing on the main homepage for nfl.com....but I followed the link for the cowboys and got this:

"Quincy Carter Not At Morning Practice

Sounds like Carter might have been doing something in the hotel room he shouldn't have.....reminds me of Stanley Wilson at the 1988 Super Bowl......
