WOW!!! /sarc

Seriously, this is a nice thing to see, and it bears watching, but the poll that counts is in early November. Be there or be square.

Latest spin from the DU site. WARNING: Make sure no liquids in mouth before reading or cover keyboard with towels.

~~maybe Im off track. I think the lack of bounce, or that appearance, actually works to our benefit. It might just motivate more of us to get everyone we know to the polls. If we had a 10 point lead, I think we might become complacent or over confident and wouldnt do everything we could do to bring people to the polls.~~

Bush approval rating @ 52%... good news.

Kerry's big day on Saturday rolled off the poll. He had a 49-45 lead on Sat. after leading by one on Friday (47-46). It seems like whatever convention bounce Kerry had has already waned.

Plus, Bush probably had a very good Tuesday, since his approval rating surged from 50-52%.

I don't think it was a solid Kerry day that rolled off the poll. Bush had a good Tuesday and Kerry a good Monday.

Vote and approval numbers back to 7/26 level.

It's like the RAT convention never happened.

My take on people who continually post polls are stealth spies or commandos for the "losing" side.

Polls are just a device to "persuade" the uninformed to move in a desired direction. Totally useless otherwise.

Part of the good news if Bush wins is never having to hear from John Kerry and his obnoxious wife again. I wonder if he's ever been in Vietnam. Anybody know?

Rasmussen's poll does not inspire confidence. He's all over the place. Tomorrow Kerry will be up three points again. I think Bush is doing better than the numbers we're seeing from all these polls.

If the election was held today, which would be unconstitutional, it would be Kerry 296, Bush 242. And we coming to bat.

I never would have guessed that less than one week after the RAT convention, we would be tied or even ahead in some polls. This is the RATs' worst nightmare no matter how hard they try to spin it.

The convention was their best chance to win more support for JFnK and they got none. They seem to be stuck on about 46 - 48%, and have to be asking themselves exactly how they are supposed to sway that other 2 - 4% to their side -- especially with a healthier situation in Iraq and a still solid economy.

It's not over, but they took their best shot and whiffed.

Oh boy, is it ever working! /sarcasm

Americans are so gullible. There is no way to conclusively find out the veracity of any of these polls, whether done by a neutral, conservative or liberal polling organization. We just have to "take their word for it".
Instead of Bullwinkle Moose pulling a rabbit out of his hat we've got pollsters pulling numbers out of their @$$ and Americans continually swallow this up like it was chicken soup for the soul. And lo and behold, it's a virtual "dead heat", just like Florida 2000 and just like some want it so that reality remains hog tied.

Can't folks see through this simple ploy or are they just too unwilling to admit that they've been played?

Please see the oversampling of democrats by all pollers here in detail below my "thoughtful" and "sensitive" graphic of Teddy and Mary Jo:

As Paul Simon has "come-out" 100% against GW Bush and joining Bruce Springsteen and the Dixie Chicks on the nationwide 40 concert MoveOn.org George Soros and Teresa Heinz-Kerry [Heinz & Tides Foundations] financed tours [avoiding/ignoring McCain's beloved CFR!!!!], you just know which song I used as BG music for this webpage; I made sure I did not use an .mp3 on this one! :

http://pro.lookingat.us/MaryJo.html

Rassmussen oversamples democrats by %5 historically; others consistently oversample dems from 55 to 18% (LAT-13%-18% !!!!!)

-- Incidentally this is a "Most Hated" graphic by libs; a great page to email to your nutcase lib relatives and friends(?) and co-workers..........

I made sure it is "thoughtful" and "sensitive" -

I'll give Scott a pass on last election.

There will be no DUI blindside this time.

His numbers are probably close -- at least as credible as Zogby Sauce. (is that similar to Heinz Ketchup?)
