I never would have guessed that less than one week after the RAT convention, we would be tied or even ahead in some polls. This is the RATs' worst nightmare no matter how hard they try to spin it.

The convention was their best chance to win more support for JFnK and they got none. They seem to be stuck on about 46 - 48%, and have to be asking themselves exactly how they are supposed to sway that other 2 - 4% to their side -- especially with a healthier situation in Iraq and a still solid economy.

It's not over, but they took their best shot and whiffed.

So you're saying that not only do FReepers trash polls with bad Bush results and praise those with good Bush results, but there'll also be FReepers who post that they notice this? LOL!!!

The question is if things are different in this election cycle and there just aren't any convention bounces to be had (in which case things aren't so bad for Kerry), or if Kerry should have gotten a bounce, but didn't (which is obviously bad). We won't know until after the GOP convention.
