The CEO of Brown Forman, a distributor of wines and spirits, is currently appearing on CNBC touting his avid support for Kerry, calling him a "really excellent candidate, with the vision and plans to restore our leadership in the world."
Here is a list of the Brown & Forman's wines and spirits and household products. I won't be buying/drinking any of them any time soon. Perhaps other FReepers might feel the same way.

One more reason to drink only Cuervo or Bud.
Jack Daniels?!! Gasp, I guess I'd better rig up a still out back ... ;)
Oh, good!
I can boycott them with no sacrifice.
Plenty of great substitutes for anything on the list I might have been interested in.
"Jack Daniels?!! Gasp, I guess I'd better rig up a still out back ... ;)"
Jim Beam is an admirable substitute and costs much less to boot. Beam defintely has a different taste, IMO a more mellow taste. But, a still would make a nice project!
Whew - I have Noritake and Waterford on my table. My silverware's heirloom so no problem there either. Dodged a bullet there.
Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! And Jim Beam sucks so hard. This one will be tough.
Southern Comfort
Not a problem - I'm over 16.
Glenmorangie Single Highland Malt Scotch
Glenfiddich is superior in every way - I wouldn't use Glenmorangie to clean the cat's "accidents" off the furniture. Again, no problem.
But Jack Daniels being on the list is major. That hurts.
This is way over the top - no way will I give up my Jack Daniels!!!!
Sorry about the Jack Daniels. But hey, we all have to make our sacrifices. No more feeding Southern Comfort sours to my Saturday night dates ;-)
But will it really taste as good, knowing that part of every dollar goes to help Kerry, and that John and Teresa probably have a little nip as a nightcap, before . . .
Dog. Bet you shoot fish in a barrel too ;)
Well here in Texas we have TILLMAN FERTITA who owns the Aquarium restaurants, and Landrys, among others. He put in the Kemah Boardwalk and most of the restaurants there. He is a big time developer and a BIG TIME DEMOCRAT. But I bet no one is boycotting him.
I know, I know. I'm deeply ashamed of myself ;-)
As a former sommelier I can testify that the wines won't be missed. Sonoma-Cutrer does have some really good single vineyard stuff but it won't make the cut on the next wine list I develop.
We can call this the "Ronsdadt Syndrome."
(Tagline changed in memoriam)
It's better anyway.
I was trying to determine if your screen name in some way related to your objection to my Saturday night technique
;-)
Naah - just a big Stargate SG1 fan.
KNOB CREEK is MUCH BETTER than Jack Daniels. Just try it. Wellers aged whiskey is great too. and something new TITO'S handmade vodka made in Austin. YUM! Tastes like the Cachaca that I had in Brazil in my Caipirinha! It was so good. But you can't drink more than ONE! Not if you have to WALK.
Sonoma Cutrer also jumped out at me. I know they do make some great chardonnays. But there are so many other good ones out there. I recently discovered an Argentinian chardonnay, Los Alamos, which is fabulous and costs only $9.99 at my local store.
