Indeed.

This one was worse than anything we went through with the boys growing up...and that includes her Daddy running smack dab into an outside corner, busting both lips open, chipping two front teeth, and raising a goose egg on his forehead! He bled forever it seemed like...but he was older, and easier to keep calm for a few days.

But, you know about those sorts of things, right?

Sending prayers for your mental well being. Make an appointment. Buried emotions can be powerful things. Good night and sleep well, Tonkin. God bless you good for your service to our country, both those years ago, and now in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Canteen. *HUG* Good night to momma cat and mojo and morgan and sarge and snowball, ms run-a-muck and babies, and Sylvester, wherever you are.

But, you know about those sorts of things, right?

I do indeed! ... Now with the newest generation, the two youngest grandchildren seemingly know no fear, so they're the ones with the bumps and bruises. Thankfully, none serious thus far.

BTW, I don't know if you saw this post on Tuesday's thread:

Oh, I sure did. And all of the responses afterwards, praising him for his courage and compassion toward his cousin.

I'm posting impaired during the daytime, and working my heart out evenings getting ready for a banquet on Saturday...so, not much responding going on.

Braden is quite the little man already.

Thanks!

Braden's mom was here Monday. She did lots of lawn-type work for me. Trimming some lower branches off the trees. Getting rid of the grass and weeds coming up in the cracks in the concrete. Etc. ... Mom and I "watched" Braden and I think we almost had to move more than my niece did. About the time we thought we'd found a way to keep him busy (throwing pine cones into a trash can; squirting himself and us with a squirt bottle we'd filled with water; etc.) -- ZOOM! he'd be off running in another direction. ;)

I'm going to do the opposite now...it's time to call it a night.

See you tomorrow!

Good night and sleep well, Piper's Poppa. ((HUGS)) And thank you for your service to this great country of ours and for helping honor our troops. Glad Piper is ok. Kids are so resilient.

I don't care how they try to explain it away.....Sandy Bergler took papers out of the room. Therefore, he is guilty. Period!

Go IDF...teach the Capitol cops well.
