President Bush signed the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act today in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden. Later in the day, Bush headed to speak at the 122nd Annual Knights of Columbus in Dallas, Texas. The President praised the group for its continued work with communities. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush, along with daughters Barbara and Jenna, greeted workers in New York City who work in buildings mentioned in the latest terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I think the subject matter written around the WWII era is just as relevant today as it was then. Maybe even more so. People understood evil very plainly during those times, but I'm a little worried about our public perceptions these days...I always think good will win, though! It just takes the right people to spread the message.

I know how you feel!

My back will go out for the slightest of reasons. I'd be all right for a long time then suddenly I can hardly walk.

I'll be praying for you to get well soon.

I didn't know till today that the Nights was a Catholic organization! Very interesting that they would invite the Pres. but not Kerry. If the Pres. can get their endorsement, it will be a HUGE boost.

I was reading your comments about Barney at the convention--my 10 yo daughter thinks he should be there, too! I wrote a letter to the Pres. thanking him for all he's doing, and mentioned that we thought Barney should be there. It wouldn't surprise me if he was. Wouldn't he be cute, running across the stage?

I'm doing all right.

I am dissappointed about the convention. I guess I just wasn't meant to go.

I'm so sorry about your back! I've been blessed with fairly good health and I always feel for people who have troubles. I think that you should probably not do any housework for at least two weeks; no vacuuming, cooking, laundry, etc. Just sit on the couch with the remote, with short breaks for checking the Dose. I think you'd heal MUCH faster that way!

I heard she denied sending the recipe in at all. Like Woman's Day wouldn't verify a thing like that??? Riiigggttt. I think she's just mystified because she doesn't really know what a "recipe" actually is. (meow)

You're very welcome!
I usually use my lunch break at work to browse the previous night's Dose. My co-workers seem to get nervous because I laugh my tail off, but everyone on the Dose is just too funny and it gives me something to look forward to.
I'm glad to be posting.
I know GWB is the one we need to win the election if we are going to be safe and prosperous!

Words cannot express the loveliness and dignified friendly attitude of Laura Bush on O'Reilly tonight.

What a difference to that shrill creature Tereeeeeza!!!

RE: Lady in Red . . .

Can't you see the President thinking these lines as he danced with Laura the night of the Inauguration? (sigh)

Maybe it's because the non-Catholic Bush is more of a catholic than Kerry (Who, in my opinion, is a FAKE CATHOLIC)

I otta know, I'm a Roman Catholic.

I'm with you about O'Reilly-- he can be really arrogant and obnoxious. I havent' watched him much lately, but luckily I saw the commercial about Laura being on tonight, or I would have missed her.

I just read your last post and had to let you know...
I was at the Ohio Inaugural Ball in 2001, FRONT ROW, and got to watch GW and Laura dance! They were so romantic and we were all in heaven just watching them interact (20-year-old girls can be awfully dewey-eyed!).
He was very gracious and made eye contact with us during his speech. It's a night we will never forget!!

Thanks for posting the DOSE this evening!

Yet another incredibly active day for the President -- signing important trade legislation (in DC), giving a speech to the Knights of Columbus (in Texas), and attending a fundraiser (also in Texas)!!!

May God continue to bless and keep him during these final 3 months of the election campaign!!!
