President Bush signed the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act today in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden. Later in the day, Bush headed to speak at the 122nd Annual Knights of Columbus in Dallas, Texas. The President praised the group for its continued work with communities. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush, along with daughters Barbara and Jenna, greeted workers in New York City who work in buildings mentioned in the latest terror attacks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
Thanks fot the heads-up!
We found this out too late last time...
But it was worth the crazy price to see GW and Laura!
She was in line for the tour of the WH when they were told to run for thier lives as a second plane was coming in, it was flight 93. This was just before it crashed into that field in PA.

Not only does this President just love people but he has a *heart* for the elderly. He is just so precious with them. And with the little ones, and the older ones, and the middle agers. He's just a real people person.
I'm reading David Aikman's "A Man of Faith: George W. Bush" and it is evident all through the Presiden't youth that he just loves being around people.
If you haven't read the book, I recommend it highly. It's well written and has a lot more detail and personal information than the soft-cover one that has something about the President's "faith" in the title. I read that one, too but Aikman's has so many more personal anecdotes and more history (Aikman was a Senior Correspondent for Time Magazing but don't hold that against him. He is an active Christian) in it.

That should be telling us something :o)
Neat article!
Thanks, Dr. Deb.
What's your take on the 'bounce' or lack thereof? Or is it too soon to have accurate polls?
Gee, I wish I could have taken every one of you with me on my Bush-sighting events! I've just been blessed!
When I try, I typically succeed. Then again, I try VERY hard!
I have "A Man of Faith" and I think it will be next on my reading list.
My parish priest has said at Mass, during his homilies, that if Catholics knowingly vote for pro-abortion candidates, they should simply stop coming to church. You should have heard the gasps, followed by... applause.
Welcome! I was a long time lurker as well. Freerepublic is very addictive isn't it? I would love to take a tour of the WH as well and I wish Laura would be the tour guide. I've read that she is very knowledgeable about the history because she reads so much.
I'll be watching for them after the election.
No moral compass plus listening to Terry McAwful too much doesn't help.
THANKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR POSTING THE PHOTOS FROM THE PRESIDENT'S VISIT TO OHIO ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY (last weekend)!!!!!
The sign says it all (and so does his hug)!!!
WOW that's really telling it like it is....How many do you think will change their vote because of his statement?
In almost all the pics I have of them together, they look deeply in love.
After we failed to get to our WH tour in DC, my best friend (another Bush loyalist) and I flew to Dallas and drove to Crawford to get a glimpse of the Prairie Chapel Ranch.
The people down there are some of the best you can meet, and told us the driving directions. We saw Air Force One take off from Waco, and Marine One flying them in as well.
I just have to say, I have good timing!
Thank God!

WOW! That man has guts! He is truly a man of God. And he's right! And judging by applause, the congregation agrees with him. I think sometimes (many times?) us on the "right" side are too afraid of offending anyone that we don't stand up for what's right like we should.
Sorry I am behind on my posting. I started late and I have to read everything that everyone links to.:) I really wanted to watch the interview with Laura and also I watched Sean interview Tommy Franks. I was thinking we ought to get Tommy to move to Illinois and run for Senate if Mr. Keyes decides not to.
Disgusting is right. I was listening to this in the car while driving and didn't catch all the phrasing. Except the goons part.
How in the world is America supposed to have confidence in a leader and CiC who calls it's citizens "goons". But nobody will hear of it except those who listen to Rush, maybe other talk radio. Then it will fade and nobody will remember.
