Teresa Urged Understanding for Terrorists on 9/11 Anniversary

Just six-months after Sept. 11 attacks, Teresa Heinz Kerry urged Americans to try to "understand the roots of international terror," while contending that the Sept. 11 attacks were best viewed an "isolated catastrophe."

In a March 10, 2002 Boston Globe op-ed piece co-written with the late children's TV star Fred Rogers, the would-be first lady said: "We pray that one day we will view Sept. 11 as an isolated catastrophe, triggering a successful world campaign to try to understand the roots of international terror as well as to work cooperatively to remove it."

The rest of the Heinz Kerry editorial focused primarily on advice to parents on how to help their children cope with the 9/11 attacks.

It's not clear why she and her coauthor departed from the topic at hand to urge understanding for global terrorists.

The true roots of international terror:

What do I win...? :)

John Effin Kerry puts a stranglehold on his lunatic wife, trying to prevent her from ever again speaking to a reporter:

Post on billbords. Shout it from the roof tops. These liberals cannot be trusted with this country's security.

Liberals believe that "We Must All Get Along". Again, liberals are on the wrong side of the war.

Yes, but Terayzah wants us to understand that all of this is our fault.

" . . . "isolated catastrophe.""

The quicker we isolate the 'Cult of Catastrophes' the safer the world will be.

Not sure about a debate, but she should be a issue. I know she isn't the one running for president. But they should run commercials with stuff she says. This woman is way out of touch. And Kerry shares a bed with her. Either he has no problem with the crazy stuff she says or he can't control her. If he can't get his own wife to help out and not act like a nut when he is running for the highest office in the land, how is he going to do negotiating stuff for our country? I guess he is just going to be a rubber stamp for the UN.

Even terrorists need ketchup. She wouldn't want them to buy some other brand now would she?

Can you imagine these two as America's first couple, representing the US around the world?

Him trying to appease France & Germany etc., and she making excuses for terrorism.

This is yet another reason to vote to send the neo-communist democrats to the ash heap of political history, along with the Nazis, orthodox communism, and anarcho-syndicalism.

In a way, I feel pity for the guy. How many cozy photo ops is it going to take before he realizes that she doesn't want to be photographed squeezing one of her ketchup bottles. Her body language in the last five photos I've seen of the pair are phenomenally lucid.

I imagine it was the same with the Japanese and Germans during WWII. WWII could have been avoided if we simply had made an effort to understand Hitler and Tojo.

She will ditch him if he doesn't win (and he won't). Wait and see. I have seen quotes from her that she doesn't want to be first lady. That's why she married two men in a row who intended to be president. She can barely stand Kerry, pushes him away all the time. When he loses, she will ditch him. He'll have to look for another rich, spoiled woman.
