Don't get cocky.
Whew! That was brutal.
Watch the Kerry/ Dean / Sharpton / Clinton / Theresa / Jackson / Gore / Kennedy / Daschle / Edwards /Carter / McAuliffe / Moore / Reiner band of rat dogs go nuts.
It's clear what happened. The DNC was just a blah blah pontificate for platitudes. They said they hate Bush and they had no solutions to anything that they complained about.
The public held off waiting to see what the demrats were going to do and say and it was just a stupid thing like the Wellstone death fest. And the gushy media is going on and on about how great it was and we all know it was completely dirt.
This is un-fricken-believable! The Bush Bounce Widens!
Onward! Charge!!!!!!!!!!!!! With everything we've got!
I see what looks like a strand of DNA.
Great news! I predict Kerry will get 45 to 46% of the vote at the end of the day. That's all he'll get maybe less on account of who he happens to be.
we MUST keep Terroreeeza IN the Spotlight. Lots of Airtime, TVtime and press-the-flesh (I know, that seems really mean) time.
Dionne is a nice guy. I wrote him to argue with a column once and he wrote not only a civil reply, but a complimentary one. Try that with Cynthia Tucker sometime. She's a rabid commie.
these are the wrong numbers...LIKELY
I don't have access to the internals of likely voter demographics.
What happened was the nation saw Democrats trying not to be their usual hateful mean-spirited accusatory selves and try to pass themselves off as pro-war moderates. The libs saw a candidate who didn't stand for anything they recognized and the conservatives could see through the fraud. What was left was the Kool-Aid drinkers and the ABB crowd who understood that Democrats have to mask who they really are in order to get elected. They're no more honest than Baghdad Bob. No wonder both sides came away unimpressed. This will be a really tough election cycle for the ideologically pure among the left. They're going to watch one of their own downplay everything they believe in so he can pander to the moderates. They're going to start looking for alternatives soon if they haven't already.
To quote Bush: "Bring it on." Lurch is toast.
My take is the demorats tried so hard to appear republican that the sheeple opted for the real thing and gave the republicans the bounce.
Wasn't this increase due to the fact that they thought Kerry would get a bounce if they continued to poll through the weekend?
Thought I read that somewhere, and that Kerry's numbers actually peaked the day after the election and went down on Saturday and Sunday.
