The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

A Virgin Atlantic Airways flight bound for London from San Francisco International Airport was canceled Monday night after suspicious behavior by several passengers was reported to authorities.

Virgin's Flight 20, scheduled to leave at 4:30 p.m., was barred from departing "based on suspicious activity by some passengers,'' said Nico Melendez, a spokesman for the federal Transportation Security Administration. The FBI later took charge of the case, according to a San Francisco police spokesman.

Hundreds of passengers were taken off the flight and left waiting at the airport, with little explanation. A Virgin spokeswoman declined to comment on Monday night, and the airline's Web site listed the flight only as delayed.

Four hours after the flight was first scheduled to take off, it was canceled, according to a federal official.

Passengers interviewed at the Virgin ticketing desk described two situations on the plane. The first involved an unruly passenger who was drunk and who caused a disturbance. About 15 minutes after that passenger was removed, passengers said, the flight crew called five passengers holding Romanian passports to the front of the jet, according to passengers.

"They were five passengers they didn't like,'' said Jamie Schutmaat of Sacramento. "They were acting weird.''

After those five passengers were removed, the rest of the passengers were asked to leave the plane.

Passenger Joe Snyder of Carmel Valley said the captain of the flight announced, "There are some people on the plane that we do not feel comfortable flying with.''

Security officers came onboard, pulling up seat cushions and searching under the seats.

San Francisco police officers then searched the 747 aircraft, and a police sergeant later suggested the incident "got blown out of proportion.''

Sgt. Larry Ratti, a spokesman for the airport division of the San Francisco Police Department, said one disorderly passenger was detained and questioned but by late Monday night had not been arrested.

"My information from the officers that boarded the plane is that there was just one unruly passenger,'' Ratti said. "It was enough that for the safety of all the passengers we decided to search the entire plane. It's a big plane. You want to search it thoroughly, and it takes a while to search something like that.''

Ratti said officers did not find anything suspicious onboard the flight.

The canceled flight came a day after terror alerts for cities on the East Coast and warnings that London might be a target for terrorists.

After the flight was canceled, inconvenienced travelers were offered free hotel stays by the airline.

"At the end of the day, if it's not safe, it's not safe,'' said one passenger who would identity himself only as Fernando. "I don't mind. Better to be safe than sorry.''

Nope, and unfortunately I don't think there will be over on the log...since that "incident" is removed (the #1051) where details would be (as they often are once some time has elapsed) the only thing might be if there were a 'resolution' that needed to be included in the incident log in the media section. I suspect, also, that since it had the 10-39 FBI that that's going to be the end of it on there. Incidents seem to hardly be updated on the media log once the actual incident # leaves the filed area, UNLESS it's been a fatality or serious injury type crash... So it seems like between the combo of this being a non-crash "event" and the FBI involvement, that the only way to find out more is if info ends up public elsewhere... Hope that's not the case with this. I've never seen an FBI mention on the CHP log before, find it curious they even left this event listed on the media log...will be interesting to see if anyone from the local media mentions it in the morning.

It's not uncommon for agencies to refer incidents to other agencies for follow-up or further action.

Sorry, wasn't clear! I realize that (about referring) it was just the public inclusion of that on the CHP log that struck me as very interesting...so few incidents actually hit the "media" area of the logs that it made me do a double take when I saw that (especially since it's, from what we can see at least, a non-traffic/directly CHP related incident). In light of the guy arrested with local ties here last week, this was just really interesting timing. (And that arrest last week has been VERY talked about the past two days here...with a lot of folks, non-Muslims in particular, not pleased that he was arrested) It's probably too late for me to try and explain anything I'm trying to say.......sorry for the confusion! :-S

Oh boy, not this $hit again! Post over at IH with a link to the SpiritOfTruth site. A version of the "CALL19 countdown clock" is running (as a demonstration) over there. It is set to expire Friday night at midnight. The MOE posts I have seen point to anywhere from 1:00 p.m Thursday afternoon to Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. Pacific time - Based on the number of hours claimed remaining in each post. MOE even mentions Thursday morning in the message A.S. has up at her site. I am so confused...

I started a countdown timer here based on an expiration time of Midnight Thursday. If y'all remember the discussion of this JavaScript countdown timer the last time it was up and running, it will show the time remaining to the event based on your local date and time - When a viewer in N.Y. sees 1 hour remaining, a viewer in L.A. will see 4 hours remaining. Aw man, now I am even more confused!!! You Jihadists should have used absolute rather than relative coding.

I was in San Diego over the weekend. Just for kicks, we turned off southbound I-5 to the Grand/Garnet exit to head toward the beach. I noticed a prominent sign on the north side of Garnet. All Arabic. No English equivalent to help a non-Arabic speaker understand it. I'm not surprised to find an anti-American Arab in the vicinity.

The cross streets that bracket the block are Mission Bay Dr and Soledad Mountain Dr.

Last time I think the clock was running for about two months. It seems unusual that it has been activated only a day before. You would think that to be effective as Psyops, they would have put a longer time on it.
